Product Details

A.G., of the legendary Diggin' In The Crates crew and of Showbiz & A.G. is set to release his latest full length album, namely Everything's Berri. For the last two decades A.G. has not only made an impact but a dent in hip-hop; he has overcome the tragic loss of Big L, Party Arty and Roc Raida.

A.G.'s prolific contributions to the culture have assembled a cast of devoted, hungry and aggressive artists that parallel his own talents. Including his protegee's - a dynamic duo by the name of 950 Plus, that brings you back to the grit, honesty and drive that also fueled an early Showbiz and A.G. Now preparing for two for the release of Everything's Berri, A.G. has gained momentum, rather than settled for being a rapper that once was.

Comment: I have been a huge DITC fan for many years, not only A.G. but the whole crew. They are true emcees, DJs and producers. I must admit that after my first listen, I was kind of disappointed with the album "Everything's Berri." When you name A.G., you know what you want from him. You know what you can expect without fully being aware of it. This album is different though, mainly because of Ray West's production. It's not your typical DITC sound; this is more jazzy with a different smooth feeling to it, a very different sound. But, I promise you, it will grow on you, and so it did on me! I've waited a long time to review the album, because new styles always need to grow on you, and I know that A.G. always delivers. I loved “The Dirty Version," “Get Dirty Radio" and everything he did with Showbiz. If you weren't feeling it from the first listen, give it another spin or 10 and I promise that it will grow on you! I absolutely love this album; it has one of the best feels I have ever heard throughout the whole album thanks to Ray West. He has to be my favorite new producer out. Ray's Café with O.C. is very much loveable also. My favorite track off the album is “I Wanna Chill," when the mood is right. It depends on so many things but every track is just great, if you ask me! Thanks to A.G. for many more hours of great music! Always appreciated! I didn't see the album had dropped when it did and I need my physical CDs! So, I just bought this for $45 on Ebay. It doesn't matter because this is forever! Cop it on iTunes if you're not a CD fiend like me! Peace!

Comment: THIS ALBUM BANGS. On the block, Infected, Xenobia, Tweet Heart, I Wanna Chill , No She Didn't, Fuck The Club are all dope tracks. I still have really to get all the way into Everything's Berri but so far I like what I hear and Ray West's production fit A.G. to a tee. 1st Time on this site bunch of brain dead fucks on here saying this album is wack or the beats wack or a.g. wack or this aint hiphop go jack-off with a cheese grater while looking at pics of Chris Bosh in skinny jeans.

Comment: this shit is lame and ag is a weak lyricist on this. my man! u were the weak link in ditc too! fat joe had better rhymes than u! what makes u think u can drop the fat production sound that saved u from the curtain being pulled back on your lack of intelligence??? only mc's with content, cadence, and minor intelligence for wordplay can achieve this!! you're lack of understanding your place as an instrument on a track as opposed to a real lyricist upsets me. stick to dope beats that hide the fact that you are just a dumb mother fucker who can put rhyming words together with no thought behind it

Comment: it's hard to separate this AG from the one that fucked up my world when I was 12. I left this feeling, well, ambivalent. Would I buy it? Would I listen to it and see if it grows?...yes. Problem w/ the beats is that there is no low end. Flow is also non-inspirational. He should do a record w/ Marco Polo...

Comment: This is not a good release, the production on every track is terrible, weak drums, samples are dry boring and too simple, almost nothing to each beat. Berriville, Dancin with a Shifter are the 2 tracks he got it right, Infected was also aight... but thats it... Extremely dissapointing album...

Comment: Their is a real cool jazzy element here, that doesn't seemed forced at all, but just comes natural and flows right into the verses, this is a real vibrant and refreshing listen, now give it to Madlib to bang out some remix drums, and add a consistent emcee like DOOM and AD-Lib remix album is born

Comment: Cot Damn!! What a disappontment. Please take away the MPC from A. I don't know what the hell he wanted to do with this but it's a huge flop. If you're a veteran with a stellar resume (minus Dirty Version and Get Dirty Radio) keep doing what got you that respect. A little progression is expected, but dammit when you can get any producer you want, don't do it yourself. Only dude that can do that is Roc Marciano (album is incredible). AG needs to get his rhymes right and lay em over "Berri" good tracks. Sorry, couldn't resist. This album sucks!

Comment: A.G. always do a decent job with his lyrical skill, but the production is very weak that is better off to skip, its still better than most pop music, but not better than an average Hip Hop record.
