Canadian rapper Aspects showed his skillz already on the last two Snowgoons Albums along with Ghostface Killah & Billy Danze of M.O.P. It's just natural that the Snowgoons would produce his debut album "Grind Over Matter" entirely. The feature list is second to none, from G-Unit's Young Buck to Wu-Tang Clan's Raekwon & Ghostface Killah, all the way to Mopreme Shakur (the brother of 2Pac), as well West Coast legend Bizzy Bone (Bone Thugs N Harmony) & Spice 1. Further New York's hardcore outfit M.O.P. and Sheek Louch of (P. Diddys group The L.O.X.). Not to be missed is Canada's finest Madchild (of the Swollen Members) and Aspects partner in crime Paragraph. Snowgoons deliver the perfect soundtrack for Aspects after just finishing the latest album by 90's legends Onyx.

The album is 14 songs strong and more than ever it reveals the strong musical part of the Snowgoons without leaving their original sound. Goon MuSick presents another highlight on the hip hop sky- Aspects "Grind Over Matter".

Comment: Isn't it 2014? How are these retards exactly the same? Same subjects, same beats, same drums, same rhythms: kick kick snare hi-hat hi-hat kick snare hi-hat. Loop, sample, done. You people are f*cking retarded to like this. There's like 40 albums that beat the sh*t out of this album and they were released over 10 years ago. Sad culture "underground" hip hop has become. Even the ones who put out great albums are mad at progress in the genre they sound funny as hell. You think Afrikka Bambattaa talked sh*t about Ultra Mag? No, he embraced it. You f*ckin nitwit thug amoeba rappers are just like girls afraid of getting old and irrelevant so you stick to inside the box bullsh*t that isn't even close in technique and mixing as the actual good stuff in this genre. I look at it like this there's John Coltraine and then everyone trying to copy him. Try something new, it's been done way better all these lame ass f*ck dudes trying to copycat a style. Boom bap revivalism is great when it's done creatively, and originally this guy and people similar to it have no creativity. If DJ Premier never did it, these guys would be selling cocaine or bean pies. Probably better for the artform anyway, smh.

Comment: Aspects are out of their minds, such great flow. And Snowgoons beats are hot fire! Plus the guest MCs are pretty good, Celph Titled and Block McCloud are probably my favorite. Billy Danze is OK, but only for the chorus. It was good to hear M.O.P. on here because they always bring some pretty solid lyrics. Overall, this album keeps it real, death to the skinny jeans era! I heard about this album from UGHH, and will definitely be buying a CD from here to keep in my car, as well as #WAKEDAFUKUP.

Comment: Aspect is a dope mc, Snowgoons bring dope heat, although this is a solo effort from Aspects right? Only two solo songs… I'm all for features and guest appearances from big namebut some MCs can't put a dope album out without that, anyone can drop a killer 16 bar verse, but to do an entire song is another thing, at first I was you may as well call it " Dynasty 2 feat. Aspects " Add more solo songs, make it the full package, I'm sure a lot of this album is fire. I will check it out, just know that my opinion is constructive.
