Summary: Hahah, Aesop Disses Are Funny.
Comment: I think aesop should get more credit -- he's an amazing poet and creative thinker and his flow is dope. But the things that people who don't get him say are so funny. I laughed out loud at the classic Decontextualized-Lyrical-Quotes dis, and again at the more creative The-Producer-Should-Be-Kicked-In-The-Junk suggestion. Priceless.
That aside, yeah. The beat is hot. You gotta get used to the way it bounces. It's not really an "acquired taste" - it just requires listening to the music enough to understand it. If you're not going to put effort into listening you won't like it, and you'll miss out- you get what you give. And the flow is classic. I like the original version of this song too, but this puts it into a dancier context. It's kind of like "Train Buffer" pt. 2.

Summary: The Beat Is About As Aquired A Taste As You Can Get.
Comment: I can understand alot of people hating this joint (especially Def Jux haters), but I really like it. It's a real aquired taste. Aesop is amazing lyrically as usual...So all in all if your liking the more extreme Def Jux sound definatly check this one out.

Summary: Diggin On The Beat Contrary To Others Belief
Comment: The majority of the new cuts on this page have that same break beat feel that I can't bear to listen to, so I can appreciate the production here as it is different and it makes me feel weird inside.

Comment: Organized confusion. The first minute of this track had me feeling as though I was under the influence, of what I haven’t a clue. I’ll just dismiss this one as another of the Def Jux tracks that require that “acquired taste” in order to be enjoyed. Listen at your own risk and buy if you feel like puttin’ a buck in Aesop’s piggy bank.

Comment: This sh*t sucks. It's wannabe, cheesy dancehall crap, and whoever mixed this should be kicked in the junk. Aesop should not be heard with such a poor beat behind him.
