Comment: Premier comes through again, Shug's vocal compliment the mood nicely the guy on the hook sounds a little of key or something, a little akward, also this track should be a little longer or something...I would give it 5 stars if not for those two things, very solid song.

Comment: Big Shug drops gems over this DJ Premier (the production/DJ aspect of Gang Starr) joint. Premier layers some gentle piano licks, effectively creating a melancholy mood, over his traditional boom bap. As often is the case, he cleverly ties the theme of the record together with a choice vocal sample. In this particular instance, the words “let the music play” are uttered by an unrecognizable male who seems to be yearning for love lost. Shug then proceeds to instruct us, in a fairly convincing manner, in why all us DJ’s should be playing this heater, regardless the format (vinyl, mp3, or CD).
