Comment: Oh man what can you say about Can Ox? They are too good for words! I'm so glad that they are back after a short break, this song isn't their best by any means, but it's still better than most. Nice little interesting beat with the usual Can Ox style strange rhymes. Very nice indeed!

Summary: This Aint "b-boy Alpha".....
Comment: But I feel it's still spinnable. Dope lyrics on an ok beat is my critique. But who am I? "I'm just a latch-key kid wit a snotty nose..."

Comment: This joint is right on time for all the Can Ox fans out there. This is an outstanding song on all levels. Rob Swift brings pain on the production while Vordul and Vast do what they do best. Everything on this meshes together beautifully and it's a nice appetizer for what's to come.

Comment: Without the production of El-P...not bad.

Comment: Wait just one second, Can OX not on Def Jux?!? Well, that doesn't make a lick of sense. I will have to look into this further. Although Vast does shout his home label out towards the end. HMMMMM.. whatever. Okay folks, we have here the latest Cannibal Ox track featuring none other than Rob Swift. The production stays true to the Can Ox vibe. Vast and Vordul are back to splitting atoms with their pin-point flows while Rob Swift is scratching up a storm. "Cosmos" is a track any true Can Ox fan would dig and since my copy of "The Cold Vein" was stolen this really makes me remember just how disgusting Can Ox is. Buy this!

Comment: This track only comes alive when Can O blesses the mic, nasally breezing through visuals of real world truths. Rob Swift was his usual free-forming image-blending self. Can O didn't hit me with any "Cosmic" themes, and as a diehard Can O fiend I was left feeling short changed with this share of the malnourished vocals. Decently produced with the wailing voices putting depth to some pretty simplistic digitized samples.

Summary: About Time!
Comment: I was getting worried about Def Jux lately. I don't know if it's me or what but lately I haven't been feeling any of their new shit since the Ox/ Fantastic Dam albums. This song gave me a lil comfort knowing they are still messing with the grimy shit. If the new Ox album is anything like this track or their last album then we got another classic on the way. (Editor's note: this track is not on Definitive Jux Recordings).

Summary: Can-O Returns!
Comment: I was just sayin to myself, "damn when are these cats coming out with a new album or single?" The Cold Vein was bananas and now this, woah! Now that's what I'm talkin about, real MCs with scientific beats and the rhymes to match. If this is what we can expect from Can-O so far, just wait til the full length! Cop this!

Summary: This Is The Track Right There.....
Comment: You don't know how happy I am to hear this track right there. First off, the beat is some off the hook space cosmos sh*t and has a good song title. Second, Rob Swift does damage to the wheels of steel. I mean, what more would you expect? Third, Shamar flips the ill laidback soft-spoken bedroom delivery. Then, Vast feeds off his verse and drops his own ill sh*t. Also, peep the way he freestyles at the endů classic Vast Aire sh*t. After hearing this I gotta ask, what up with the sophomore Ox album?
