Comment: "It's an old riff, with basic rhythm and sub-par"
I'm pretty sure he wrote the riff, and basic rhythm makes no sense.. basic rhythm IS old school hip hop. Innovative? Ripping samples is innovative? I'd say writing your own samples is slightly more innovative than sampling an old James Brown riff..no? I would expect this opinion coming from the detached and front running LA.

Comment: Yeah Dray we give a shit that your done with hip hop. You have no idea what your talking about you dumb faggot. Hip Hop today is nothing like older hip hop. Did you ever hear a vocoder on a classic track? Didn't think so. Did you ever hear a cheesy drum fill on a classic track? Didn't think so. I think you're just mad that your moms choochie is so stank she has to queef through a tubearoo. You herb.

Comment: I think I'm done with hip hop. It used to be an innovation on the music everyone knew - jazz, funk, blues, rock and roll. People bringing an unknown reality to the ears and minds of a culture content to hold them in the margins. Hip hop now is just a regurgitation of older hip hop. It seems fans these days are raised on hiphop and nothing else - they have no basis of comparison, and as a result, don't ask for anything more. This beat is not sick. It isn't new or bangin. It's an old riff, with basic rhythym and sub-par, unoriginal, uninspired lyrics. It scares me to think so many people are content, fuck, are impressed, with the total stagnation of the genre.
