Summary: Disappointing Track, But Overall Thumbs Up
Comment: I loved Chops' production back in the "Self Vol. 1" days and before "Triple Crown." These days he seems to have lost some steam, relying too heavily on a few formulas like the bassline/horn stacking in this track. He does the same thing on other tracks on the album as well. It's not bad at all, it's just not nearly as groundbreaking and creative sounding as his earlier stuff.

Summary: Properly Done
Comment: The tuba bass line is always fun. And both GA and Chops get tech. They should get down with The Roots now...or have they? I dig the MB's crazy lots.

Comment: Even before previewing this joint, I was absolutely confident that it was on some other-level type ish. Illadelph’s Grand Agent and Mountain Brothers’ producer Chops team up for a Philly collabo worth waiting for. Chops sets it off with his signature MB’s funk-type beats and clean scratches on the intro and Grand Agent delivers his trademark verses and flows. Even with Chops dropping lines, it’s clear that he stepped it up in his beat programming since the first MB’s album. This track is proof that Philly’s stable of artists are supporting each other to the fullest, from Bahamadia to Grand Agent to Chops and so on...
