Comment: Defari returns with "Smack Ya Face," a solid battle track that should gets fans heads nodding. DJ Revolutions bouncy, mid-tempo beat allows Defari to demonstrate a laid-back flow although his rhymes and the hook are full of hunger, anger, and frustration. It might not be his best lyrical performance, but it's a solid performance nonetheless. Rev shows his one-of-a-kind skills in the end making this a good listen for DJ Revolution and Defari fans alike. Nothing drastically different for both, but still worth a shot.

Summary: Defari Slippin'
Comment: It seems to me and most heads I know from the illadelph area that Defari is slippin' as well as the whole Alk. Crew. I must say though that like always DJ Rev set it off.

Comment: Ok, Defari is wack as they come. First he copied a line "Lookin' At My Gucci,Its About That Time". Thats a Cash Money line, the beat sounds like "Still Dre". It pisses that he's in the same label I am.

Summary: Sounds Familiar?
Comment: Is it me or does this beat sound like a slowed down version of "Still Dre"? I always like Defari, but lately he's been boring me. Revolution is probably one the dopest DJ's in the world, he can't be touched, but I can't say the same about his production. This is more of a head dozer (Zzzz) than a head nodder.

Summary: "LA's Finest"
Comment: Defari does it again with this tight ass song, original style, powerful punch to the base in his voice, makes me proud of being from Los Angeles. We need more emcees that hold it down like he does. Peace to the whole Likwit Crew.

Comment: This is Defari doing what he does best and with a blazing DJ Revolution track behind him, it would have been crazy hard for him to make any wrong moves, Defari sounds hungry on the M.I.C. and Rev's production is just dope, not to mention his cuts at the end. "If you like straight with no chase then smack ya face"
