Summary: Apt Title For A Dynamic Duo
Comment: I just saw (and met) DJ Static and Natill at Scribble Jam (Natill's first time in the U.S.) and witnessed their live show. The interaction between emcee and DJ is incredibly tight and like no other artists I've ever seen. (They opened for Atmosphere in Denmark and Mr. Dibbs didn't want to go on after them.) They did this song and though it's better seen and heard live, it sums up what they're all about and what they represent. It's classic hip-hop style and a nice party cut.

Summary: Static Is The Man!!
Comment: I've known about DJ Static for a while now, mostly cuz I followed the DMC Championships for years and Static always blew me away with his scratching and now he has produced a banger. Lovely scratches and soundbites throughout the track make it a surefire party rocker- amazing!

Summary: Straight Outta Denmark
Comment: Another 12" from Masters On Broadway. Static and Nat Ill both go way back in the days on the European level. Static made it through almost every DJ competition out here and is together with DJ Noize, one of Denmark's finest. The lyrics are not too spectacular but fit the head-bangin' beat to the fullest by giving the well deserved props to the turntablist with the production credits. The vocal cuts in the whole song make sense and all together the whole thing is a true headbanger.is a true headbanger.

Comment: Priority #1 is head-nod! That wasn't really a problem with a thorough beat laid down by Static. Natill's lyrics were a little banal, but overall the tack flowed nicely, and his voice gave the beat the energy it needed to take full effect. Although I can't put my finger on it, this voice sounds very familiar, and I'm thinking that is a good thing. Definitely give this one a listen. It's no banger, but it's well-produced and gets the blood in your neck moving.
