Summary: Edan Is Awesome
Comment: As an emcee, this guy kicks butt- his voice reminds me of an early CL Smooth. The beat is pure old-school and the lyrics and wordplay shown here are amazing.

Summary: Good Ish
Comment: I'm feelin the beat a lot, and the hook is dope with that "crack" sample. Lyrics are pure genius.

Summary: Nice Wordplay
Comment: I respect the old-school, but those beats get too repetitive for me. What kept me listening was the wordplay. The reason this flow is nice is because of timing, rhyme, consonance, and alliteration tools that are often overlooked.

Summary: Nice Remix
Comment: I have the original of this track, which I loved from the first time I heard it. I love the beat to this better then the original, steppin' it up! Edan does it all. Lyrics are the same, new recording though. Nice remix but nothing out of the ordinary.

Summary: Thank Heavens For Edan
Comment: This kid (and we mean kid at a young 24 years old) is amazing. He's the next coming of the golden age. Ugly Duckling and J5 aside, nobody is coming close to touching Edan in the retro throwback department. This is fantastic.

Comment: Definitely a holiday gift right here kiddies. A hot-n-bouncy beat is shat all over by Edan, who masters flow, lyrical lucidity and all-out dopeness. I had no problem when he boasted his greatness on the track because, honestly, no one can tell me that he didn't blow this track to pieces, from production all the way down to lyrical abilities. And he even had the goddamn common courtesy to shout out his Moms and Pops, how sweet.

Summary: "I Don't Smoke Crack I Smoke Emcees"
Comment: Is the opening line to this track courtesy of PMD? Edan's trademark fast paced 80's influenced rhymes take us on a ride into the hip hop archives of rap. Hot bassline at about :45 lays itself into the overall scheme of this track. Corny echo effect at the end dampens my review a little but definitely a head nodder. 7/10

Summary: Edan... Still Taking You Back To The Golden Years Of Hip Hop
Comment: What else to say...y'all know the man that brought you 'You Suck' and 'Mic Manipulator' returns with this stompin' remix of Emcees Smoke Crack. The beat is dope and the lyrics ain't half bad either. Edan still holdin it down for all the nerds doing real hip hop! Pick this up!
