Summary: No, No, No
Comment: Wow! I have never absolutely hated a Gangstarr single. Not even "Lovesick"! But this sh*t right here? It's sad when a group you really love to death comes out with a wack-ass single. Cause you don't wanna hate it! But I can't even give this one the generic head-nod- sh*t's just weak!

Summary: Honestly, The Worst Gangstarr Song In A Few Years.
Comment: Guru does the classic, "She's a stripper but only because she has to be verse" and the hook is horrible. Even Primo comes with one of his 1 out of 10 absolutely wack beats on this one. Worst beat he did since Ebonics (Remix).

Summary: "if It Ain't Love, Then This Thug Is Just Smitten"
Comment: Yo, this joint is off the hook! Premo once again kills it with some straight pimp sh*t. And Guru lays down some smooth vocals as usual. Remember, it's the voice that gets 'em most! Thank God for this whole f*kin album! I just hope we don't have to wait another 5+ years for the next one. Big up to Year Round and Ill Kid. Hope to see (hear, actually), more ill sh*t in the immediate future. And by the way, LeatherD*ck, The Natural was an exclusive for Doo Wop, so why would they put it on the album? Like Rah Digga said, "So when I freestyle, you ain't gonna hear it on my C.D."

Summary: Ur Regular Gangstarr
Comment: What we’ve all known of Gang Starr is on here. Guru does his duties and so does Primo, nothing more, and definitely nothin’ less. Club banger!

Summary: Guru Smoothing It Out
Comment: Ya, Preem's beat is nice, but really it's Guru's voice that kills this track. He's just too cool. I see em pimpin’ out his oversized fur coat with a beater on underneath. Boy Big crooning in the background really adds to the vibe of this track. He doesn't sound like many singers I have heard before and he doesn't turn the track flowery. He just rides the beat with a slick low key chorus. This is a good b-side and it adds to the album's overall quality.

Summary: Premier Dissapoints
Comment: This track is mediocre at best. Premo really wasn't at his best on this one and Guru's lyrics came off as average. This track never should have made the cut on "The Ownerz." "Natural" should have replaced it.

Comment: Cot damn, this joint just brings me back to the days when Gang Starr was a camp and not just a duo. Premo and Guru hit you off with some more “Hard to Earn” type joints. This is the second release off their new “The Ownerz” LP and after listening to this album hopefully there’s more 12 inches on the way. Anyways, Premo is Premo here and Guru gets on some lady talk (he seems to kill songs about da ladies). Although some may not agree, the Boy Big rap n’ bullsh*t hook really rounds out the track.
