Comment: This song was written by Jeannie Cheatham in the 80's and is her signature song and the title of her autobiography (Univ of Texas Austin Press) She and her husband Professor Jimmy Cheatham and their "Sweet Baby Blues Band" are the epitomy of Kansas City Blues. See their cds on Concord Label and her website for history of this song

Comment: I have been trying to find this song since 1995. I used to listen to is along with many other great tunes with my dad. My dad died and I could not remember anything other than the title line. I have all his records but not this one.I love it. Cheers dad x

Comment: I'd give this 10 stars had it been possible! This has to be something that springs from the 30's, 40's, or 50's era, because this is what my parents grew up with and as a result, was the kind of music I heard as a child, living not far from a place where people went to socialize, drink and dance, in what we called, in those days, a "Juke Joint." Loved it!
