Summary: So Refreshing...
Comment: I also saw this video on MTV2 (which is amazing too) and I fell in love with it. It's melodic, harmonious hook placed atop a sick instrumental. What more can I say

Comment: Need a break from the norm? Tired of the commercialized bullsh*t? This track, along with anything by K-Os, is what you're looking for. The beat is classic with nice jazz flavor. K-Os speaks the truth with infectious lyrics. The Hook does exactly that- it hooks you. Great vocals over a well-produced beat.

Comment: What I like about the Superstarr songs (there is now 3 available;pt 0, pt 1 & pt 2) is the fact that each has it's own flava...pt. 1 is reggae-influenced, pt. 2 is on some accoustic-sh*t and finally pt. 3 is hip-hop at its finest...the instruments are well played...another gem by K-OS...

Comment: I personally find the "Pt. Zero" part clever, despite having already been used by Madlib. Anyways, the song is ill enough to deserve such a supposedly pretentious title (depending on how you look at it). I'm loving the beat to death though. Think Digable Planets times jazz-house plus a little drum-&-bass. K-Os has produced a gem here. Good vocals on the hook, tight rhymes, and an ill as f*ck beat. Anything else? I really appreciate what K-Os is doing by blurring genre lines and pushing the sometimes overly-purist and elitist underground scene forward. Required listening.

Summary: The Best Of 2002/2003
Comment: Originally released in Canada in 2002. In my opinion this is the best single/video/production (flipping the Soho instrumental) of the year.
