Name: Paul (Posted: 8/3/2005 5:02:00 PM) Comment: He may be no RZA, but when it came to non-RZA beats on Wu-related projects, Mathematics could be expected to provide productions on par with Mr. Rakeem. "John 3:16" is surprisingly upbeat and funky with Meth taking vocal duties. Despite devolving into a bit of self-parody, Meth sounds back on track here, delivering his battle rhymes in a head- spinning flow. It's nice to see that the Wu (and perhaps moreso, the Wu extended family) can still release solid cuts this far into their career. And if it's a party your spinning, this one may come in rather handy.

Although I'm sure the RZA is nowhere near finished producing or rapping! Sounds like that early Wu-Tang's 90's flavor as well! First throwback jerseys & shoes, now lyrics & tracks! Bring it on baby!
