Always got hella love for bombers makin music cause it makes me rememeber the good ol' days when I was out there slippin into the night causin major damage wit my fellow vandals. Good shit right here. The horns are ill and it got that whole creepin sound, gives me chills. Comment: "Take a walk with me, we go in all fatigues, black hat, gloves, flat blacks, all you need, Krylon, Rusto, a Pilot, my name is fame, it's my face…unknown." From the moment the opening chorus drops, Pack FM immediately sets the mood for the song, letting his listeners know they are in for a tribute to, arguably, hip hop's most respected element due to its both dangerous and illegal nature. Pack FM does an absolutely brilliant job of creating a visceral feeling for the listener. At one point, he even rhymes in whispers as he reaches the point in the tale where he has to be hush hush to avoid lurking cops. Even though I'm just sitting in front of a computer screen, enjoying a bowl of Smurfberry Crunch, I couldn't help from continually glance over my shoulder, prepared to see flashing lights and holler at my cat, “Yo Jackson, 5-0! Break yourself fool!" Deacon the Villain (of the CunninLynguists) compliments the lyricism in quality fashion, serving up an eerie, ominous, creeping beat, packed with all the sound effects (sirens, shaking spray paint cans, cop voices, etc.) one would expect from a story about a nighttime graf session. For all you record nerds out there, this apparently is a remix of the original version which appears on Mark Ecko's “Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure". Either way, it's perfect video game music. Matter of fact, I might throw it on and see if I can flip Spaced Invaders in one life.
