Comment: Unfortunately people can accept that fact that life moves on, the 80's-90's are over. AZ has grown as an artist and this album reflects that definetly. How is he gonna rap about grimmy &^%$ when his whole life has been an attempt to get away from that, come on how long can one person hold on to the past? I dont expect my 14 year old nephew to understand or appreciate his talent , although he would comment on his beats like alot of you.

Comment: Man, it's tough to accept that AZ albums no longer bang. The last "true" joint was Aziatic. Some tracks on this new joint are down right BUSH! Nonetheless, I've been a fan of my man's music for years and I will always give him a chance. AZ...what's good wit you and Nas??

Comment: His lyrical talents are great & they make him legendary, but the production is hurting him. And why are rappers having all these R&B songs on their tracks! Where's the street, underground, raw, gritty aspects of hiphop now? AZ you need to talk back with Preemo, Pete Rock, 9th Wonder, Large Pro, & some of those cats! You need to get your street cred back! 3 stars for lyrics. The album was soft at best. Large Pro had the best track by far production wise, AT THE END! Come on, underground is ALL WE HAVE LEFT PEOPLE!

Comment: I agree with Prime that it was very unexpected of him and excpected certain things from artist. But that's the key word ARTIST experiment with any and everything. So what! Yeah its commerical but I support him through everything and youre intitled to your opionion though your not going to always like everything that everyone does, Why don't ppl understand that? As far as AZ he should just keep it true, keep it him.

Comment: AZ has always been one of my favorites, but this album sticks out like a sore thumb with his others. There's a consistant pop vibe all over the cd, and there isn't even that one banger that, alone, makes the cd worth listening to like "The Format" had the title track or "The Come Up" on AWOL. I'm not trying to hate on AZ, I'm just very disappointed in this release.
