Item Summary
Known for his classic hard core style, no-sellout attitude, and a true life story that would make the most street minded A&R blush, rhyme animal Blacastan has cemented his name in the annals of hip hop over the last few years.

Blac follows up the success of his "pre" albums The Master Of Reality, The Master Builder, his full length debut opus Blac Sabbath, an Australian tour with Celph Titled and countless song stealing guest verses on albums by artists such as Jedi Mind Tricks and Apathy with his most ambitious project to date: the 44 track, 2 disc spanning The Master Builder Part II. Boasting all new recordings and complete with a holographic 3D cover image, MBII gives a nod to the 90's NYC mixtape history teaming Blac up with legendary DJ Doo Wop plus Peter Parker for a full street mix of the album. This blended bonus disc also includes exclusive non-album version cuts including "Thru The Rain" featuring La Coka Nostra rapper/Hollywood actor sensation Slaine.

A truly limited edition release, MBII starts 2012 off strong for Blacastan, a year that sees him as a full fledged member of The Demigodz super crew (he will be featured heavily on their upcoming album as well as the new Army Of The Pharaohs record) in addition to prepping his official sophomore full length.

But it probley has the imagery in relation to the name ofthe album master builder in relation to the freemason worsip of the master artitect

Comment: I agree.. I am hella disappointed. Blac Sabbath and Master of Reality were perfect. It was as if it was carefully crafted and tracks were chosen that would flow together smooth. This album, meh. The beats are very boring. There is a reason that people don't use SP-12's in 2012.. shit sounds dated. Purists are fossils. I was hoping for growth from the last album to this one, but I just feel Blac got caught up in the AOTP / Demigod shit too much. Makes no sense for a new rapper to join two old crews. That's hustlin' backwards homey.

Comment: to my man below - I respect your opinion but Colombeyond is very well respected producer - he makes beats the way the legends did - only samples and breaks off of vinyl and on vintage machines like the SP 1200 - you have to at least respect that - the dude is really "keeping it real"

Comment: I already pre-ordered this joint. Blac's been consitent with it for years. I met dude at the Underground Hip Hop store on Hunington St. in The Bean a minute back and he was nice enough to hit me with a hard copy of his "Me Against The Radio" mixtape. When an artist has given away a large amount of his material for free (and its actually been good)it's almost crazy to not support a project that he's decieded to sell. And by the way, most of you brothahz on here don't know shit about rap and ya'll get dumb reckless with your reviews.
