Item Summary
iHipHop Distribution is proud to announce the release of Bronze Nazareth's sophomore album, School For The Blindman. Thought of as Detroit's counterpart to Wu-Tang Clan leader RZA, Bronze has moved beyond the boundaries of a producer and proven himself as a lyricist through his performances on The Great Migration (2006), Wisemen Approaching (2007) and Children Of A Lesser God (2010). Heralded as a super-producer for his work on Wu-Tang Meets The Indie Culture, Vol. 1, Bronze has remained integral to the Clan's sound for the past decade. With appearances on seminal Wu-Tang Clan projects ranging from RZA's Birth Of A Prince to Raekwon's Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang, Bronze has established himself as a purveyor of the gritty sound that defines the Clan's sound. Don't be fooled; despite studying under the tutelage of RZA, Bronze's style is all his own, with rhymes to match. "If anyone's going to be the figurehead for the sprawling second and third waves of Wu-Tang Clan affiliates" writes Daniel Levin Becker of Dusted Magazine, "it might as well be Detroit's Bronze Nazareth."

With production handled almost entirely by Bronze himself, School For The Blindman is a necessity for any Wu-Tang fan, with guest appearances from RZA, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa, Canibus, La The Darkman, Killah Priest, Willie The Kid, and The Wisemen.

Comment: I have known about Bronze since he surfaced but never really enjoyed his projects as a whole. There have always been great tracks on his previous albums but they for me also included mediocre ones mixed in the bunch as well. That is until now, I was completley surprised by this album. The superb production stays consistent throughout which was my problem with previous releases. Their filled with boom bap magic and sprinkled with soul right on top. The arrangement, flow and theme on this album is beautiful. The lyrics are rewarding as well, not earth shattering but they paint a nice picture as the album title sugests. Some great guest appearances also round out the project quite nicely without feeling too overbearing. I like the cover artwork alot better on his other releases but thats a minor gripe. This is my first paid cop for bronze, and since then this has dropped in price on here so no excuse not to cop the physical. (4 1/2 stars)...enjoy

Comment: Anyone heard the new Tragic Allies album yet? Fuckin amazing album... here's my top three... 1: Apathy - Honkey Gorilla (Beats are mostly dope but it's Ap himself that makes this album a truly great release) 2: Bronze Nazareth - School For The Blindman (Top top release from Bronze, dare I say, it even tops his debut release from '06) 3: Tragic Allies - The Tree of Knowledge of Good & Evil (After a long ass wait, the debut finally is released and WOW!! it is exactly what I was hoping for, can't believe it's no on here only thru iTunes at the mo') Don't sleep, GET THIS ALBUM!!!! ps it was tough but if it was allowed, i'd have this at 2nd along with Bronze, this album is too good to be 3rd!

Comment: After a 5yr wait we finally get another classic from Bronze, beats as good and most even better than Great Migration, lyrically Bronze drops gem after gem, as far as MC/Producers go, Bronze along with Insight are the best out there, following Godfather Don back in the 90's! It's hard to decide but I gotta put Ap's classic at top spot with this right behind, tough choice... Bronze does no wrong with this album BUT Apathy edges it due to how HE owns the whole album lyrically, most of the beats are excellent and even the 2-3 sub-par offerings are always saved by Apathy's mic skills.. plus considering his longevity and status in the game, Ap more than deserves top spot, dude earned it... this album though... fucking amazing piece of hip hop... cop it NOW!!!!

Comment: I respect the album, and Bronze, but The Great Migration murdered this. This came off kinda boring to me. He seems to have given his better beats to other artists this time around. To each his own, but respect due. I'm a fan, just not of this particular album.

Comment: Ayo xplicit his last album was trash? What were you listening to?? He's one of the best producers in hip hop period. The wisemen crew is the most talented crew to come out of detroit. Before the groupies go in, elzhi never had beats like this. I know just a handful of real n*ggas agree with me, but oh well.
