Comment: Wow first of all, how did Rip The jacker get a lower rating overall than his debut Can-I-bus? I'm convinced ughh has tons of idiots & morons lurking here LOL. This is canibus' best album to date, his magnum opus, this is his illmatic. Canibus' lyrics mesh well with stoupe. Its different from the battle rap canibus we saw from his earlier days (1993-2000) he takes a more scientifical & philisophical approach to his themes & rhymes but the rhymes are still dope. What are you people on bath salts? you can't be serious.

Comment: One of the best if not the best Canibus albums ever. Stoupe with the incredible beats, and Canibus with the great lyrics. Poet Laureate II, my favorite Canibus track.

Comment: THE best Canibus album next to Melatonin Magik & C of Tranquility. Canibus came in FULL force on this one, destroying every beat on here. Stoupe's beats on this are the stuff of legend right here. Amazing LP from the Canibus man.

Comment: this is by the far the best, mosy consistent and listenable production to ever appear on a canibus cd. the other production has been eeehh on previous cds. but this shit was fresh and interesting. plus you are probably familiar with stoupe's brand of production with the aotp empire. he is in his prime here released just before visions of gandhi. it was no violent by design but damn that was a good era for jedi mind. these were great hungry lyrics canibuslaid down before he joined the army (when this album came out). when canibus got his copy shipped to him in the army having had nothing to do with it besides laying the vocals down a cappella he said he loved the shit. stoupe was a genius with the boards on this one he apparently holed himself up to work on this one. there's a reason this is featured on the jedi mind website. and to biggy reppin' CA what the f you moron. are you talking about his first album can-i-bus which wyclef produced(actually good for him) beats and canibus said he didnt like the project? that was his first album the only album wyclef is on. this was all stoupe baby, no traces of wyclef on this joint. buggy you are a fool on so many levels, to name one, you thought for even a second that wyclef was responsible for even one piece of beautiful music on this album? fuckin retard.

Comment: I like Canibus but the album was lacking production. Even Canibus said the album was wack and that wyclef fucked it up. Levitibus is a chill song though

Comment: Lovin’ the diversity, but considering Stoupe (including the new Jedi Mind album) has been jackin’ samples from half of the Cuban mainstream tracks. Some tracks may be repetitive, but I think homedude needs to get over this Miami/Scarface feel that he killed 5 tracks ago. But other than that Mr. Can-I is holdin’ it down. I still got mad love for Stoupe- dude held it down during “V.B.D.”

Comment: I just bought this CD a week ago. First thing that came to me is that this CD is not for everybody. Sadly there are people out there that are too stupid to understand the thought provoking lyrics this album provides. Stoupe is incredible on this production no words of praise in any language can express how well he did his job Or how well they fit together especially on "Indibisible" I have been a fan of Canibus for many years since "Beasts from the East" actually. There are very few that can rival his lyrics(few as in opposition can be counted on my hand)But I have NEVER EVER, thought any of his albums were a classic. Not even 2000 B.C. which was extremely good but simply not a classic. But with this release I can truly say that this album is his best work, (even thought I do miss the punchlines and metaphors)I know people that in general dont listen to rap and they hail this album. And no matter how many of these degenerates, these weak emcees that can't beat him on wax or on stage, so they talk shit about him and exile him. Chanting Can-i-bitch. In the future maybe 15 years from now. The industry will look back at this and say goddamn!

    This is a true classic.

People forget but the history will remember.

Comment: This is one of the most boring records I’ve ever heard- in every aspect. Canibus’s rhymes seem to ramble about nothing. Music is not a science experiment. If I hadn’t known him to talk about more realistic and clever things I might feel different. The beats are totally boring. I respect there was a basic theme of sound. But you almost feel like you’re listening to the same song remixed 10 times. At best, there might be two significant songs, which really aren’t. They are just the prettiest fat bitches in the room full of fat bitches.

Comment: Canibus gets a little overbearing with his vocabulary and the flow is off in parts, but it doesn't really matter cause Stoupe provided him with some of the dopest beats of the year. Grab this album immediately.

Comment: “Rip the Jacker” is pure dope. Canibus is the illest MC of our era, period. It's too bad he doesn't get the credit he deserves. I hope this isn't his last album.

Comment: always been sceptical of this bloke due to cheesy name and funny voice like onyx but theres nothing here to critisise good lyrics and the beats best ive heard in ages. He's a cheeky boy calling the LP that tho. Oooh I love reviewing tunes makes me feel important.

Comment: Sh*t..This is what I've been waiting for since his first album. I always knew he had it in him. But somehow Canibus kept f-ing up and managed to come off weak several times. But now that has changed. Stoupe is so on point with his beats and Canibus is extremely dope on every single track. There are no fillers here, just pure quality hardcore rapsongs. "No Return" is 100% kick ass.

Comment: I like Canibus a lot an it didn’t disappoint me one bit with this LP. The lyrics are sick as usual and by far I think this blows “Mic Club” out the water. Also, that “Spartibus” beat was off the hook!
