    Product Details

For the last few years, Wu-Tang Clan member Cappadonna has been busy touring, as well as making numerous guest appearances, but his latest appearance of note was on the Wu-Tang Clan's noteable reuinion, "8 Diagrams". Known for his clever wordplay and lyrical dexterity, Cap now returns with his first full-length album in years, "Slang Prostitution". Featured on this soon-to-be classic are none other than his Wu-Tang compadres Raekwon the Chef (Lex Diamonds Story/Only Built for Cuban Links) and Masta Killa (No Said Date/Made In Brooklyn). Also featured are King Just (Mystic of the God), Jojo Pellegrino, Lounge Lo and others.

Comment: Cheap shot. "Rush" just submitted Mondee's beat for Yak Ballz "The Drill" as his own... Even funnier, the song was originally just a one-off verse Raekwon did to throw up on his MySpace as a download for other kids that spit to have fun with... that's why his verse fades out so abruptly. Yea, obviously Rae sounds incomparably better than Yak Ballz on that beat, but the producer should've gotten credit if Donna wanted to push some snatch-up shit like this. You can peep the original 2003 Yak Ballz track with the same beat on his 2003 album "My Claim."

Comment: Chambermusik Records has been putting out excellent material ever since they started last year and are definitely steering in the right direction. I like what I'm hearing with this outing, although Cappa has a problem staying focused and on point throughout the album. Alot of cats stopped checking Cappa after a couple of disappointing releases but now he's back so stop sleeping on him. This is a strong effort and if you take the time to really listen to this album in its entirety you will like most of the stuff you hear.

Comment: Capppadonna is truly redeeming himself on this album. Granted Cappatalize was weak. My stand out tracks are Do You Remember, Pistachio, Somebody's Got To Go. The only track I'm not feeling is track 2. Savage Life.

Comment: This is a solid and heart filled effort, production is a classic Rza-rip off, but on 1/2 a dozen tracks they got it right, and on the others Cappa's raw emotions, straining, as if these were the finals words of salvation prior to something bad happening and Capp had the answers

Comment: I always been a fan of Cap. I ain't even mad at dude for this, but the majority of the producers on here are hoe pussy. Fire is that shit. Dude should of got his beats from that dude. Who the fuck is 3rd Digglah GARBAGE!? I was thinking it was Cap's producer name. This is a good example of why you need an ear for beats when making an album. I wish I could of gave 5 stars, but beats made it 2. Without fire I would have gave it a 1. It's a damn shame. There are to many crazy unsigned producers, and beat makers to find an excuse for this.

Comment: Niggas done their minds, it goes to prove how the media got you muthafuckaz brain washed and shit with your "one track minds" Hip Hop is a universal diverse culture with many realms, but some of you lame sucka duck ass dudes and bitches fail to realize that, I aint gon' say Cap is the best, nor is he the worst, but dude got talent and is in a lane of his own, how many n*ggas can spit it like Cappachino? I mean really, n*ggas was on his dick at first and now you n*ggas is lost in the matrix and done lost your fucking minds....wake the fuck up! Peace to sun, moon, earth, and all the shinin' stars in the universe.

Comment: I got the album early from chambermusik and let me tell you it's a banga. Cap came back real strong. The second half of the album is classic with joints like Da Vorzon, Somebody's Got To Go and Fire. I think Cap is really back and still has many great albums left in him. PEACE, P.

Comment: No, No, No. Hell fuckin no! Does anyone else notice that Wu-Tang started to get wack right after Cappadonna started getting on their songs? The only thing any Cappadonna fans can say to validate him is that "he ripped that Winter Warz shit back in '96, yeah he went on for like 48 bars and ruined the song but that shit was hot cause I got rhymes but cant write a well composed verse either so I can relate to him." And nobody wack from Wu-Tang!? Ever heard of U-God and Masta Killa???
