Comment: Clipse will NEVER... honestly EVER... never damn near have a classic. Unless we are discussing fellatio because this garbage BLOWS... like agood hooker... Fellatio. I couldn't help but notice an oxymoron down in there... quality mainstream??? I only opened the link to laugh. This isn't HipHop... fans know that right? Of course we do... Bravo Clipse... another dustpan for my broom closet. Shit sucks!!!

Comment: Clipse damn near had a classic the 1st eight tracks...Straght Bang...Then it falls off. Life Change is Ill ,sounds like some Scarface(Movie) was sampled. All Eyes...was an obvious Radio grab, but I dig the production on it..has a 80's RnB feel

Comment: Being between underground & commercial is definitely NOT a "bad" thing. It gives enough leeway to relay some real soulful topics and still be able to please the mainstream audience, selling many records. They are probably in the best position in their career right now. My favorite song up here is "Life Change" and it's a prime example...

Comment: This album is kinda cool, almost seems a little odd coming from Clipse, sounds a little less hard edged than their past stuff. It works on a few tracks, but mostly it can't compare to lines from tracks where they were "in and out of homes like the Orkin man," "pullin up so mean with angel bowin'," or demanding "give me the cash before I turn you cookie monster blue." The lyrics for the most part took a dip in quality.

Comment: So that's your "Hip-Hop 101" ENALYST? Claiming that they said a phrase that's not even close to anything they have said in their entire discography... Cool, I hear ya. Anyway, on to the next one. Peace to D-TRAIN, I hear your view. I would say the Neptunes have reached a stalemate on some productions. I think it's more so, they keep the good beats to themselves. I love the more recent albums like Pharrell's "In My Mind" or N.E.R.D.'s "Seeing Sounds". I wouldn't call their production up here bad necessarily. Different sets of albums come with different themes and beats.

Comment: These cats can actually rap but this album is bad...There's a few tracks that are cool but most of it is terrible.....Neptunes seem to be getting worse to me.... I would love to hear these cats over some hard ass beats...

Comment: LOL Hip-Hop 101? Yeah ENALYST, I actually wanna hear this, cuz this album is simply brilliant. Oh what, so it's NOT Hip-Hop? So it's supposed to be "pop" now because it has beats you can get up and dance to? Critically think about it before you answer that question. The Clipse are easily Top 5 Southern groups right now. 4 stars to this album, 5 stars to Hell Hath No Fury, which will go down as an all-time classic...

Comment: Just picked this album up 2day and its pretty good. The only song I skip is All eyes on me. Its a good riding to Album. Neptunes suck when they work with Gay-Z. Always classic beats when they make a Clipse's album.

Comment: "Disappointing. Is everybody falling off in hopes of commercial success?" co-sign and I think so. clipse and the neptunes could really had shit on smash. I cant believe these are the guys who recorded keys open doors joint and neptunes should just put out an instrumental record the producton is crazy and lyrics just fuck it up. but if they dont have love for hiphop theres shit u can do so basiclly they all can go fuck themselfs

Comment: Simply HOT FIRE by the Clipse! Definitely lyrically sound with bangin beat production by The Neptunes. "Life Change" is the realest song up here. I'm also feelin "Counseling", "Showin Out", and "Footsteps". My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's not necessarily WAY better than Hell Hath No Fury, which is arguably one of the top Southern albums of the decade. Other than that, the Clipse are back by popular DEMAAAAAAAND!!!
