SummaryFeaturing two new original tracks and two remixes, Disques Sinthomme returns with a 12" of intense original Italo flavored dance material. Side A begins with Cosmic Metal Mother's track "I Think", A hypnotic keyboard driven slice of cosmic electronica. "I Think" explores the terrain between dance and electronica, building a melody through repetition and layering, letting the time of the track increase it's intensity and weight. Already gaining airplay in both NYC and the UK "I Think" will be a staple for both disco and electronica heads. Side A also features Nick Chacona's Remix of "I Think". Taking the CMM original and ramping it up, Nick delivers a treatment that shouts Berlin 3 AM! Sure to be a late night classic this is a brilliant remix from one of the finest and hottest boardmen around today. Side B starts with the eagerly awaited release of Professor Genius's Pegaso on vinyl. A track that already has a serious reputation, Pegaso has been featured on more blogs and mix shows then we care to mention (next kid who asks "when?" get's it). It's notoriety is for good reason, a clean italo sounding track, it has a haunting melody and lush arrangement. Like some found jewel from the past Pegaso mines a similar synth vein as tracks by Andre Gagnon, Vangelis, and Alan Parsons and it will appeal to both the dance and serious audiofiles. Side B also has the Silver/Citizen Kane version of Pegaso, inspired by the original, Kane and Silver wrote a tribute to it, bringing more of a Factory records new order flavor to the proceedings, featuring live percussion from Liquid Liquid's Sal Principato, The Kane/Silver return to Roma mix goes to the disco new romantic style!
