Four years after their last group effort, and on the heels of a pair of wildly successful solo projects, the UK phenomenon dan le sac Vs Scroobius Pip return to North American record stores with their third album "Repent Replenish Repeat" on October 29th Via Strange Famous Records.

With a backdrop of sparse, drum-heavy sonics that maintain an edgy complexity, "Repent Replenish Repeat" is their most complete work yet. The album carves out a sharply defined niche of glitched, sharp hip hop, with Pip crafting the most lucid vocals of his career while dan works from a tight production pallet of hard electronic beats, dark strings, and layered melodic reverb.

The first single, "Stunner" sets the tone for the album perfectly, and its accompanying video (over 100,000 YouTube views in its first week of release alone) takes the listener through the labyrinth of Pip's subconscious while dan's striking soundscape seduces the listener into a frenzied trance. The next single, "Gold Teeth" is a ferocious attack on consumerism with a huge beat and hook to match, featuring production props from Joshua Steele (aka Flux Pavillion).

Elsewhere on the record is the atmospheric "Terminal" and the midnight buzz of "Porter", tracks that tackle the topics of terminal illness and mental health, punctuating the club bouncing "Nightbus", grinding "Heroism" and Pip's self-proclaimed 'last political song' "Stiff Upper Lip", featuring Itch (formerly of King Blues).

The story of the duo's ascendancy to their enviable place on the charts is the stuff of indie legend... Hot off the CD burner, their first song "Thou Shalt Always Kill" was sent to one of the biggest radio stations in the UK in demo form. Within 24 hours it was on the airwaves. Pip swiftly set up a web page with their solitary track: "Suddenly it went crazy - everyone was emailing the track to other people, so the only thing to do was borrow [a little cash] and make a video."

That video has now chalked up 4 million views on YouTube, and the track became renowned as a decade-defining moment in UK hip hop. Their critically acclaimed SFR debut album "Angles" was released in 2008, just 12 months after the first fruits of their partnership had hit the airwaves and landed a spot on the Top 40 chart. After two years of solid touring, dan and Pip produced their follow up "The Logic of Chance", and their burgeoning fan base supported it to the tune of a string of UK Top 40 hits in 2010.

Given the success of their recent solo efforts and their relentless touring schedule, "Repent Replenish Repeat" is set to repeat the magic of their previous group effors, and prove that the third time is indeed a charm for this pair of electronic hip hop legends.
