Summary

Once again DJ JS-1 is back with another album. Over the past decade JS-1 has released several successful independent hiphop albums. His latest solo project, "NO ONE CARES (Ground Original 3)" has 20 new tracks all produced by JS-1, featuring: MOP, Joell Ortiz, KRS-ONE, Rass Kass, Freddie Foxxx aka Bumpy Knuckles, Ill Bill, Guilty Simpson, Sadat X, Tonedeff, Homeboy Sandman, Blaq Poet, Jeru Da Damaja, Torae, AG, Ruste Juxx, Sick Jacken, OC, Slaine, Akrobatik, Craig G, Rahzel, Akil The MC, C Rayz Walz, Eternia, BrownBag Allstars, Punchline, Sav Killz, Rise, Dominion (Pack FM, Substantial, Mecca), LifeLong, Freestyle, Sabac, Nutso, Illa Ghee, Icon The Mic King, Bekay, Tanya Morgan (Von Pea & Ilyas), Jak D of Cold Heat, Steven King & Dj Eclipse...

This new album, "NO ONE CARES", is sure to satisfy the fans again. JS-1's raw style of underground tracks with legends like KRS-one & Kool G Rap have been a proven format that have helped him sell units in the past. Always coming with an bevy of heavy-weights in his line-up, this LP is no different, featuring artists like Joell Ortiz of Slaughterhouse and Lil Fame of MOP.

The album title makes reference to the over-whelming media assault on us each day which has resulted in everyone's attention span being only seconds. In return that lead to no one having time to really care or focus on anything, while at the same time, everyone thinks they know everything. This also ties in with the 12" single and video, "Last to Know" featuring Tonedeff. This track touches on how EVERYONE seems to know more than us about what we do and how we should do it.

With constant touring and steady plays on Sirius/XM satellite hiphop shows, college radio, scattered main stream mix shows in the US, and several international radio stations, along with hundreds of blogs and websites, thousands of facebook & twitter followers, millions of youtube & myspace views, the new album, new videos, and new music will be sure to reach the people, even if NO ONE CARES...

Comment: Dope Album! Only two things I didn't like were the Pre-Show Warm Up track and I thought iCON the Mic Kings verse/flow on 'Doin It' wasn't up to par. Overall another Phat mix of dope tracks by one of the best in the culture.

Comment: Dope album. My favorite track has to be How We Think. Production on this album is mad Nice! Props to the real DJ's out there. DJ Deadeye's album and Tone Spliff's albums were dope as well. Every true HipHop head will acknowledge this album as being dope if not stick to mainstream BullShit! Well worth the MULA!!

Comment: Oh my fuckin dayz!!!! This album right here is a modern classic!!! JS-1 saves the best Ground Original for last (if there ends up only being 3). 1st was an underground classic, the second, while it had a small handful of classic moments the album as a whole a bit of a let down, beats were good but nothing amazing and most of the MC's were above average wit there verses, not so with this one. Beats are straight classic material, 90's feel with a modern twist... the cuts are just too damn good and elevate each track to an even higher plain. This time EVERY MC drops gems (like they knew JS was making some next level beats so they had to step there game up) Def a top 5 for 2011. Well done JS-1 and guests, you really made up for a slow start to '11, now in the last 3 months, we've been treated to some incredible underground hip hop, long may it continue. Take my 5 stars and pretend u got double vision coz wot u really see is 10 stars!!!

Comment: This is my favorite record of 2011 thus far. JS-1 is a true DJ who produced a dope record here. The guest shot emcee list is so diverse. More people should make records like this; more DJs should produce and less producers should DJ.
