    Summary

Underground Hip-Hop artist Effect has again teamed up with producer Dang. to deliver the album "You Don't Love Me and I Don't Care". Most known for their work together on the album "Simply Dope" by Effect, which garnered the number 1 radio hit "Kill Your Idols" featuring MC Esoteric.

This new album is the first official release for the duo as a group. Dang., a vinyl purist, digs back into his crates to spin gold out of rare and obscure records that, in turn, Effect laces with true-school braggadocio on the first track "WHATUPWHATUPWHATUP(?)". Together, they head down a road that seems to get darker and grittier as the album progresses. The record features guest appearances by some of the best underground MCs hip-hop has to offer. On the first single "Rap Terminators" MC Esoteric (of 7L & Esoteric / Czarface / Demigodz) steps back on the scene with Effect and Celph Titled (Demigodz) to deliver one of the catchiest yet most brutal hip-hop tracks of the year.

The album also features appearances by hip-hop heavyweights Termanology, Reks and Akrobatik as well as Effect's previous partner in rhyme D-Tension. "Headphones Lie", a posse cut featuring 6 MCs (Termanology, Effect, MC Esoteric, D-Tension, Illicit & Mic Stylz), highlights just what happens when those who refuse to stop until the beat is completely in shambles come in on one track.

Co-signed by a who's who of hip hop MCs and producers, Effect and Dang. have stepped to the plate to cast their own spectrum and stand as a force on the independent hip-hop scene.

Comment: Don't get dude belows comment. Whats so gutsy about it? Its a hip hop album man. What the fuck is the big deal. All the negative reviews are about what kid look like. the album to me made my summer. Rap Terminators alone kills half the shit I heard in years. Album is dope. Made my summer. Lookin forward to the next shit!

Comment: I think the comments here refect some of the weak and primitive attitudes in hip-hop circles. Duke does rock have a fade and a fat gold chain so this shit is wack? Maybe you cunts should try to get on the mic or mpc and make something a small percentage as good as this? Accounting for personal taste and all that, in summary haters can just eat shit.

Comment: Yo man this isnt so bad bros. He has kind of a big L type flava and the rhymes is coo. Beats is also pretty dope. I honestly think that all the hate is coming from is this dude's image.. he's a bit chubby with tight clothes, scruffy hair, and his mannerisms and movements scream lame. looks like the loser at the office that everyone disrespects. it is VERY hard to get over that shit and then listen to the music without a preconceived notion of whackness. album cover dont help much either. my advice to the young god is to build a more ambiguous image around his music, do not appear in ur own videos or covers, and keep rocking. gain that respect musically then come out as yourself later on. I write this without disrespect and with a genuine intent to help the kid. peace bro.

Comment: How anyone can call this garbage is beyond me. The beats alone are some of the best I have heard in recent years. Effect is dope on the mic and the guests deliver solid content as well. Not sure what the problem with guys like the one below. sound like you read the reviews and got yourself overly excited. Its a hip-hop album man. Chill.

Comment: Ok so I have had this for about a week or two and you can call me crazy but this is the best album of 2013 for me by far. Other albums are really good from this year but not a single weak track on this one it starts good and ends good. effect is dope as hell. the guests all actually tried in there bars which almost NEVER happens with feats. The beats are really well crafted. This is just a really really good album. Not nearly enough people know about these two. Not nearly enough people will hear this. Very depressing.

Comment: This is a real good album. Picked it up at Newbury last weekend. The production is on point and the lyrics are dope. Guests did their thing. Reks has an almost odd performance on Never Too Late and its almost like he didn't know what to do wit the beat. There are a couple filler joints on this one for me but overall this is a really solid album. The opening track still kills me. Rather watch it die on the side of the curb. spit ya teeth on the concrete and don't say a word!Awesome!Anyway................. real good album. RECOMMENDED... 4.5 out of 5 for me

Comment: Picked this album up on a whim when I picked up the P-Money album. This is above average for sure especially having no idea who either of these guys were before hearing this. Effect is a great mc. Holds it down even with guests. The fact I have never heard of Dang surprises me considering how nice the production is on this but I am glad I did. I was even impressed with the guests. Usually lesser known rappers who work with bigger names end up getting trash verses but I was impressed with MOST of the verses from the guests. A few were suspect but thats okay. Rap Terminators is probubly my favurite track with Respect That as a close second. She Likes Me is pretty dope too. I recommend this for anyone trying to get into newer shit that has a boom bap older school flair to it. Solid 4.5 out of 5. Look forward to seeing what else these guys do in the future. Will be hitting this one up througout the summer for sure.

Comment: I got this album a few days early because I preordered it and it is AMAZING. I was worried he was only good with other people on the track, but I was very surprised to see when he could hold his own. Dang really knows how to put together a beat and they are both a breath of fresh air in hip hop!

Comment: Big L's voice was higher pitched and his flow was different. Big L also dropped more punchlines than Rodney Dangerfield, different style. That being said, the production is ill, haven't skipped one yet. Dope album

All the tracks on here BANG!!! People will sleep on this album and it's sad. This could be a contender for album of the year. SALUTE Effect & Dang. for creating a MASTERPIECE. Comment: Dude has my attention with this one just by having that Rap Terminators joint on it alone. I bought Simply Dope on the strength of that kill your idols joint with Eso and was surprised at the album as a whole and how good it was. Looks like the same formula on this one with a few extra guests which could go either way. I think I will go as far as to pre-order this one.

Eso, Reks, Term, Akro and Celph... worth the $
