SummaryFollowing the success of it's first two edit 12"s, which became favorites of such DJ's as Harvey, Danny Krivit, Aeroplane, Darshan Jesrani and Diesel (X-press 2), and gained great radio/club play in Europe, LA, NY and Japan, comes the third issue from the Ghost Town posse. Side A features a re-edit of a soulful disco-funk anthem called "Contact". Tweaked to emphasize the driving extended break, with synth overlays, this one was getting club play before it was even mastered. Sleazy as all get out, it opens big and brings the sway, each road test of this gem has brought heads to the DJ booth asking "what the hell is this?" Side B has two tracks. The first is a mid-tempo fusion jazz track called "Countdown" that is given help discovering it's groove. An easy - start the dance floor - vibe pervades, lush synths and a great guitar/bass line set the sway clock in motion. A west coast Steely Dan like perfectionist treat. The third and finla song called "Body To Body" is an early 80's italo gem stripped and reworked, with cool passion, a heavy bassline, a Baldelliesque treat - it's 4 am at your beach party - time for "Body to Body". The record should come with a complimentary bottle of Vive Clicquot. All tracks arranged by The Beat Broker. Round three from Ghost Town, tools for DJs who care - strictly vinyl!
