    Summary

As one half of legendary Queens duo Mobb Deep, Havoc has crafted countless hip hop classics, from "Shook Ones Pt. II" to "Drop A Gem On Em" to "Quiet Storm" and many more. The talented emcee/producer launched his solo career with 2007's The Kush, and recently has been producing tracks for an A-list clientele that includes Eminem, 50 Cent, The Game, Nas, and Jadakiss, among many others. Now, Havoc is returning with 13, a brand new solo album produced by the man himself. While he's crafted more mainstream records in recent years, 13 finds Hav returning to his grimy roots. "It's Queens, it's New York, it's hardcore Mobb stuff," he explains. "Real beats and lyrics that the fans will appreciate." While solo albums give Havoc a chance to showcase his underrated mic skills, he also made to recruit some high-profile guests to share the spotlight, including Royce Da 5'9", Lloyd Banks, Raekwon, Styles P, Twista, and more. "I'm a big fan of each MC on the album," says Hav. "I wanted to involve the artists that I'm feeling these days." The result is a cohesive, hard-hitting album that fans will undoubtedly appreciate. "It's a great body of work," says Havoc. "I feel like this should've been my first solo album."

Comment: I dont know if other people will like this cd, but I thought the production was great. I would have preferred more of a variety of artist featured but overall its a good job and it sounds great production wise. Definitely a good buy

Comment: DOPE ALBUM!!! Way better than his first solo album. Alot of these tracks sound like they got samples from the 'Infamous' album which it isn't a bad thing. Salute Havoc for releasing this album.

Comment: I will give this a shot... I always liked P best when it cam eto lyrics and then he became a phukkin' lolli-pop kid. His rhymes are SO lack luster it isn't funny yet laughable. Well Hav... let's see what it do. Will confess that the features are not my cup of tea but will be easy to either skip or not mind listening to. Let's have a go shall we?

Comment: This was good. P fell the fuck off a bit ago. I'm glad he finally told P that his shit is weak nowadays. Recently I've been FF P's verses on their newer shit. I don't understand how you go spitting murder like "Take it in blood" to that shit turned frisbee HNIC 3?!? It's fucked up.

Comment: Compared to his last solo effort as well as Mobb Deeps recent EP and mixtapes this is a big improvement. Havoc's production sounds pretty dope, I'm digging the sound, wouldn't mind a new Mobb Deep album sounding like this.

Comment: It's alright, Tell Me To My Face is my favorite track on the album, and the album as a whole is okay but there's no real bangers on the album when it comes down to out. Havoc can do better, I think... I can't say because it's not out yet, but the one single "Give 'Em Hell" from Albert Einstein is putting this album to shame in my opinion, but we'll see once the Albert Einstein is released.

Comment: M.O.B.B.!! Havoc's vibe on this cd is bringing it back. Really like where he's at production wise. I'm into lyricists, but when it comes to mobb deep, I just want the production with a good sound. This whole cd plays out smooth. Way on point this time around. Stay on point for a Mobb Deep album that bangs in the future!! Will buy this.
