Comment: @Sleepy... I hear you fam but I just couldn't get past his voice and amatuer delivery. You gotta admit, the beats are THAT ill so I kinda expect it to be complimented with a class A MC. Irealz prolly woulda sounded more decent over Snowgoons beats for example. Kyo really crafted a mid 90's dusty, soulful, Wu inspired landscape and Irealz didn't step it up one bit. Each to their own but the beats here are some of the best this year. I hope his next compilation (the first was nothing like these beats and was aight in parts) uses this style of production but with peeps like Bronze, Wu, Tragic Allies, Canibus, Apathy etc... |

Comment: I give this 5 stars purely for the production which is some of the best this year, trust me. Every single beat is pure fire and god I wish he worked with some more established MC'.... Wu, Tragic Allies, Apathy, Bronze etc... I'm sorry to say it but the MC fuckin ruins this album.... BADLY... I can't remember the last time I heard a bit start... flip out over how sick it is then be absolutely horrified, disgusted even, when the MC starts spittin. Nuttin wrong with punchline/battle rappers who only lean towards that style of lyrical content... Celph Titled is a good example of someone who spits battle raps for the majority, but does it well. This dude is soooo basic it bores me to death and I cringe and how he rhymes and flows and just talks pure shit!!!! Can you imagine Raekwon & Ghost droppin a Cuban Linx 3 with this kinda production. Big shame but I still wanna give props to Kyo Itachi for blessin us with some memorable beats and scratches. |
