Comment: JMT are most inconsistent group, for some reason they came to this nonsencial(period) stuff from The Psycho-Social LP, Violent by Design. This is real average.

Comment: what the hell is wrong with everybody? jus allah is great, yeah his flow changed but still sick, he didn't change his flow, its called natural evolution, how many mc's you know can change their winning style and still be sick, he doesn't sound anything like paz, even when I listen to shine I know its not biggie smalls, so what the hell you guys talkn bout? why do people allways want albums to sound like the ones they grew up with, vbd was amazing but I don't want to buy it again... idiots, yeah this album is average but this shit is for true fans who just want new stuff, they didn't release this album so you amateur critics can say how its not good enough, vbd came out 15 years ago, get over it

Comment: Vinnie Paz is dope as shit. His flow is rugged and he is a genius but as people have said. Just Allah is fucking wack. His flow is dead he has no skill and he insults the real god by imitating his name, Vinnie needs to tell him to get the fuck out of JMT otherwise he will fuck the soul of the name up. It's already fucked that Stoupe left now this clown is trying to get hyped on it? Fuck that.

Comment: Stoupe still makes amazing beats. V Paz stills does his thing. This album is completely crippled by Jus Allah. I have some advice for JUS ALLAH: Go back and listen to Violent by Design. You were an intrical part to one the best indie releases in history. Learn from your old self and apply that to your present ryhmes so I don't have to skip your verses on the next album.

Comment: After listening to this album, it's sad to say that the return of Jus Allah hasn't done JMT any good. The old chemistry just isn't there anymore, Jus Allah fell off tremendously and even the almighty Vinnie Paz suffered big time from the return of Jus Allah. Stoupe and Vinnie now have the choice to either go on with JMT and Jus Allah and lose about 10,000 of their fans and in sales (if not more), thank Jus Allah for his services and ask him to get the fuck out or disband the group and all go solo. Take my advice and kick him to the curb!!

Comment: everybody went and BOUGHT this cd thinking it was going to be something spectacular, hence why it had so many sales on this site for the month of november. but lyrically this shit isnt worth piss. jus allah sounds horrible, he his flow and structure is garbage. and vinny paz is still using the same flow for the last 4 albums. shit is wack. ill name ten n*ggas you never heard of that will eat them all whole. overrated. that is the word that defines its. stoupe is still bringing good production. but other than that quailty wise, this is only 1 star, for stoupe.

Comment: 6 albums in and still bringing it. this may not be their best album, but Vin and Stoupe have released 6 dope albums regardless. jus has changed, his aliteration can be overbearing but hes killing tracks on here, be real with yourself. two high intensity mc's now with vin and jus over always dope beats from stoupe. new dynamic reminds me of MOP at times.

I was expecting flows like from violent by design, not shit like "fire, like a cypher, chicken wire, cause I am hyper" I been a jmt fan for years, and im pretty sure others would feel me on this and others that wont cause theyre fresh meat to jmt.

I know you peoples dont expect that shit but it is true and living fact. it is kinda like when judas priest front man released the fact that he was out of the closet and all his fans found out he was gay. same scenario with Jedi Mind Tricks. essentially it is homosexual music. frustrated and in the fucking closet banging stoupe between the asscheeks. I think its funny when you so called underground heads ump this shit and thinks its so real when you dont even know that this shit you rep is faggot. jokes on you jack.

Comment: I saw them live the other day. It was a great live show and Reef really turned out. However, lets call it like it is. This album sounds like it was rushed to take on tour. If this was the first we heard of JMT we would all be impressed. However, we all expect ALOT more from them. This album doesn't even have a groundbreaker like Uncommon Valor. With that being said--As a hip hop album it bumps---As a JMT release it falls flat, way flat!

Comment: Heavy rhymes. Heavy beats. Heavy content. He has a fierce fan base because he is the best at the sound he does. A great purchase as you won't find something else like it. The content is introspective and political in a good way. Though he sounds good his rhymes and beats are not that imaginative but passable.

AOTP stuff, OK. but not on JMT albums for fucks sake. and vinnie, stop saying BRATTTTT BRAAAAAT, its fucking corny. and surprisingly enough, stoupe was only OK on this record, was expecting much more from him but oh well, still some nice beats from him here and there but a lot of the album sounded the same..also the album is wayyyy too short for waiting 2 years for this, go back to make 18+ tracks albums please.

Vinnie is solid, to many cuts by DJ Kwestion, Stoupe EMK could of done better with the beats but Stoupe is for me one of the best producers. King Mag' sick as always, Doap Nixon ehh, Outerspace & Blokc did good as usual. Demoz, he needs to say something to Paz so he could get banned from future projects. Fav. Track - 'Godflesh' and 'Deadly Melody' but I skip Demoz's verse.

Comment: okay ...this is my second review guys. I listen to the album over 5 times. I came to a final conclusion. The album is good. Compare to all the albums in their catalogue it is considered the worst. why ??? because of jus allah. Jus allah left a good impression in violent by design. Vinnie paz and Stoupe have succeeded without him. They dont need Jus allah to make jedi mind tricks. I believe Jus allah doesnt fit in the chemistry vinnie and stoupe have created. Im a huge fan of JMT. I support them, and always will. decent album

I think he was OK in VBD, but I prefer JMT without him. Plus, Stoupes beats on this one are barely OK, but the weakest he has done yet (maybe equal to "Visions of Gandhi"). To me, "Servants in Heaven" stays a great and beautiful album, maybe equal to "VBDesign", and Vinnie was great on it, even all by himself, and the beats were so ill. How could this get so dull now....... ???

Jus Allah's flow has become so different, and it's pretty annoying. I need another Violent by Design. oh and yeah, fuck demoz I hope celph titled shoots him with a smith & wesson.

Comment: This is the weakest JMT album behind Servents in heaven kings in hell. Only four good track. Vinny and jus have become victims to there flow and projection and forgot about lyrical content. This wasnt what I was expecting. If you want to by a JMT album go back and by Psycho Social or Violent by design. Ps Fuck Demoz

Comment: just saw them tonight here in hollywood, seeing allah and vinny together was amazing. There better then ever! the new album plays better live then on disc, they only did a few joints from it though. I've heard the full album and its by far there weakest but cop it anyways if your a fan. The next one will be better..

Comment: The album is dope but it's not their best work. Why Jus Allah it's screaming now and why Vinnie Paz it's always talkin' shit about Jesus?.I always love Stoupe's beats but...I miss that heavy violin filled tracks in this one. They have to take it back to the Heavenly Divine days and please stop screaming.Leave that shit to Onyx and M.O.P.

Comment: As a JMT listener, you should know what youre getting yourself into: The Paz Man isnt a lyrical poet, he's a hardcore rapper throwin out threat verses...Jus Allah: co-sign, dude's falling off(hey Jus, stop the grunt and flow smoother like in VBD?)...Stoupe gets the props like always. **I thought Tom Araya from SLAYER was on the record?

Comment: Hey I listened to the entire album today. Let me say, VDB is their best following Servants in Heaven Kings in Hell. I've liked everyone of their releases, in fact the AOTP Tourture Papers is one of my favorite albums ever, but since Ritual of Battle, Paz has sounded extremely uninspired and repetative, whereas Jus just sounded horrible. Before I go any further let me say that Jus Allah is one of my favorite mcs ever as well. History of Violence is a terrible album in terms of lyrics on almost every track with the exception of one or two good Paz verses. Stoupe killed this album though, I don't get how anyone could say he fell off. His beats and scratches are ridiculous. Overall I would not reccomend this album to anyone. If you want some brutal music buy Ill Bill's latest or the Reef cd that's about to drop.

Comment: totally agree with the comment from 'you already know it'. beats are decent enough but jus allah has gone to shit in recent times. his poor rapping from aotp's ritual of battle continues on and its woeful. he tries to rhyme every 3rd word. it sucks. I am a big jmt and jus allah fan but seriously...they could have done better then this. just needs to stop shouting and get a proper rhyme scheme back like he had in VBD. he was such a burner then.

Comment: first off I have to agree..i cant believe these guys sound like this....jus allah's delivery and his structure is horrible..and this chorus is ridiculous, stoupes beats are'nt the same anymore, for the worse. I dont care what anybody has to say, weither its them growing as an artist or them being more verstile. this isnt the edi mind I wish to see. just the cover of this cd is enough to turn me off. I loved jmt, and this isnt the album for those looking for a reincarnation of VBD...we could only wish

Comment: ROFL at the guy who said Violent by Design couldn't compare with any other JMT release. Visons of Ghandi? Lyrically that album was trash, filled with a bunch of guest appearences who basically saved the cd. I wont even mention Legacy of Blood because that was awful. Servents in Heaven Kings in Hell was much improvement compared to the other 2 but nothing like VBD.

Comment: Yo this album has a LOT of expectations and potential to live up to... Here's to hoping that Jus Allah and Vinnie Paz bring out the best in each other as they did oh so well on Violent By Design... And man, honestly I hope they don't go too heavy on the conceptual shit... Just stick to the blueprint of raw dark gritty boom bap furious type of shit and heads will be more than satisfied... Jedi Mind, Heavenly Divine, Steadily Shine in 09'... Brrrap Brrrap!

Comment: I have been waiting for this album to drop ever since I heard Violent By Design years ago. I knew Jus Allah would someday return to the group or at least I hoped and now that its a reality and the album is so close I can only imagine how sick its going to be. I know it cant live up to its brother VBD but I hope it comes close and becomes there 2nd best album!

Comment: Album Of The Year and hopefully can hold just under Violent By Design but nothing can beat that. The return of Jus Allah should add a great element thats been missing. Vinnie can hold it down himself for sure but when there hit a track together its unstoppable.
