Is not this will be the album of the year for sure. Three on a scale of ten. | Name: twoholla (Posted: 12/2/2011 3:06:00 AM; Partial IP: 106.229.30) Location: Yay Area Comment: What happened Lateef??? I was digging the Maroons & that lil mixtape thing you did with DJ Zeph. But that 'LOVE IS LOVE' mixtape you put out was creamy yellow squash squash and now I finally get a proper Lateef solo...& you seem to be chasing the SAME BOHEMIAN COFFETABLE COLLEGE alternative cross-over crowd that Lyrics Born snagged in with his "HELLO" song. The only problem is that stuff is fluff but there is a certain CHARM to some of it...your stuff...however is lacking that lil' bit of charm. I've seen you live freestyle & rip the hell out of the mic...but on this...you're singy-songy-style seems watered down & dilluted from earlier Lateef...I remembered the first time I heard your classic "THE RECKONING" single. Now I just PRAY & hope I can forget forever what I heard on 'Firewire.' | Name: Kaiowas (Posted: 11/28/2011 10:17:00 AM; Partial IP: 90.36.64.3) Location: France Comment: It may be pop music but it's some really dope pop music. No, this is trash. It is mostly terrible, out-of-tune singing with the odd rhyme thrown in here and there. THIS IS POP MUSIC. | Name: A note from the (Posted: 11/25/2011 5:39:00 PM; Partial IP: 90.104.189) Location: 303 Comment: Next time you come to this city...leave the attitude at home. You ride a washed up Gift of Gab's coat tails. Be happy heads even acknowledge your existence. |
