The Hall of Justus Music Group is proud to present Phonte and Big Pooh's return as Little Brother with the official release of ...And Justus for All. The North Carolina duo and founding members of The Justus League have made a major impact on Hip Hop by successfully combining the classic 90s feel of such groups as A Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul with production and subject matter that remains current with the times. Little Brother made their first appearance in 2001 with the release of the single "Speed" which addressed the trials and tribulations of becoming a recording artist and maintaining a 9 to 5. They were introduced to the world in 2003 via their cult classic album "The Listening" which landed them on a national tour with Hieroglyphics. A deal with Atlantic Records ensued which was followed by their sophomore album the Minstrel Show. Phonte and Big Pooh continue in 2008 where Getback left off in 2007. ...And Justus for All features guest appearances from rap legends Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Skillz and Cormega while giving shine to Rap's up-and-comers Rhymefest (Mark Ronson) and Oh No (Stones Throw), as well as shedding light on there Hall of Justus crew rhymers. With fourteen tracks guaranteed not to disappoint, ...And Justus for All gives fans what they want: fresh lyrics, relevant content, strong production, and a roster of supporting rappers guaranteed to satisfy even the most fickle. Be on the look out for big things to come out of these Halls in 2008 and make sure you go out and cop ...And Justus for All.

Comment: This combo has been out for a while now, and it seems people only know about there mixtape(chittlin circuit) and the three albums(barely). Phonte has a group called foreign exchange, pooh is doin his own thing, and if you check out the underground scene, you would know the phontigga is no doubt one of the vast musical talents(check out "zo and tigallo love the 80's, yeah the 80's). and for u mainstream junkies they got beats with mos def, talib, lil wayne,, and several other big names.

Comment: I love LB. The Menstral Show, and Get Back are classic LPs, no question. But And Justus definitely doesn't leave up to their previous work, w/ the obvious reason bein the production. Flat out, some of the beats just suck. Trying to replace a force like 9th is definitely a hard act. Just look what happened when the Roots lost Dilla (Rising Down = Boo Boo). With the dough-boy anthem 'Never Leave' and failed club banger 'Lose It,' it sounds like losing 9th has em' shook, strugglin to redefine themselves, and encompass a more main-stream (rap) following, but failing badly on those tracks. Real heads love LB tbecause they stay true to hip hop, but it seems they lost that connection (for the 1st time) on a couple of these tracks. Lyrically, Phonte always comes w/ it, and Phoo stepped it up (blowin out his patna on a couple tracks). But most of the featured emcees came weak: Skills, Jozeemo, and especially Scudda (w/ the exception of Von Pea and Tye Phoenix). If this was their 1st LP, I would be impressed, its a good effort. But being their 4th, I expected progress. They have set the bar way too high for themselves to come like this.

Comment: This is definitely a hot album!!! Phonte, Pooh, J. Scudda and the rest of Justus League and it's affiliates are a dope ass collective. I'm from GA (Georgia) and I hate it when mafuckas label music from coast and regions...everybody talkin' about how New York fell off, how ATL is too overrated, how the West Coast aint puttin out no hits, and all this other bullshit. A n*gga listen to everything from Black Milk, Slum Village, Nametag, and the rest of the n*ggas from the D, to Cormega, MF Doom, AZ, Styles, Jean Grae, Snoop, Planet Asia, and Strong Arm Steady Crew and lots more n*ggas from the West, back down home to GA to T.I, Outkast, and Luda....good music is good music, and hip-hop don't have any boundaries so it shouldn't really be based on regions and coast...a dope n*gga on the mic and the 1's and 2's is a dope n*gga if his/her music is really felt, and Little Brother and the Justus League do that shit time and time again with their music...this shit gets heavy rotation in the fuckin' jeep.

Comment: LB has always been on point. At first when listening to 'The Getback' I was like it could have been better, but after listening to it again Phonte and Big Pooh are truth and 'Justus For All' just lets me know that they are still the most underatted group out here.Keep doing your thing.

Comment: Lol, it's funny...mafucka's be tryin' to clown Pooh, but that n*gga is ill on "SCARS" off his "SLEEPERS". Between him and Phonte it aint no comparison cause both of them n*ggas is definitely 2 of my favorite MC's. It's like back in the day when n*gga's use to argue over who was better, Q-Tip or Phife, or Havoc or Prodigy, Erick Sermon or P. Smith. I just heard some shit they did off of AZ's "Memphis Session's" album and that shit was dope. Them two get better and better as well as Ninth on production...wish they was all together though. I don't know the reason for the break-up, I just wish they could settle that shit though. Jay Dee/Dilla had to pass and him and Slum Village didn't even get to do another album...hope them LB n*ggas could read this, cause all 3 of them is dope, but better together.

Comment: I remember when the Listening came out in '03...I was in Hawaii then when I got the album and Pooh, Phonte, 9th, Joe Scudda, Chaundon, and Legacy just to name a few of the League have been in heavy rotation boomin' out the jeep ever since I've heard of "H.O.J". Especially Pooh's "Sleepers" (CLASSIC), The Chitlin Circuit, and 9th's "Dream Merchant" albums". Funny how mafucka's use to clown Little Brother...especially when they came out with the gangsta grills album with DJ Drama. These n*ggas been the truth and to me they are definitely one of the hottest and best kept secrets in hip-hop right now. Keep makin' them bangers Hall of Justus...mafuckas like me need it.

Comment: i wonder if that "A Word from our Sponsors" track with Von is an extended version of what Von did on Rob Viktum's joint. If it is, that's a dope track. Von Pea needs to put more stuff out, either with TM or solo, dude should just join LB, he can keep up with Pooh and Phonte
