I'm from the Bay...& I've peeped Frontline, I've peeped Locsmith's single with E-A-SKI, his freestyle battle, etc. As a battle emcee...he's vicious but on tape...he's good (oh-hum)he's FAR from whack...he has conviction, good lines...but at the end of the day...the LP is "iight." Locsmith reminds me of Supernatural, who also is dope-ass battle rapper but you put him on tape...he's only okay & passable...& oh yeah...Ski Beatz..the beats you provided to this dude were servicable & passable I GUESS? The heads who discovered Locsmith from his rap battle might dig this...but it's guaranteed that NO ONE in da Bay will be bumping this |
