    Summary

Best Kept Secret showcases OGC's Louieville Sluggah and his Out of The Park family. Smif-N-Wessun's own Steele also makes an appearance. Hennyville's effortless flow and complex rhyme scheme are displayed throughout this 11-track CD. The production, mainly handled by Smoke the World, is everything a real Hip Hop fan is looking for: catchy, soulful and bangin'.

Comment: LOL @ MC Jayo Stone. "tea time" sounds like some Soulja Boy bullshit. This album doesn't sound NY at all. Sounds like some fuckin' commercial garbage from the South. I can't believe all the 5 stars people are giving this drink coaster, it's ludicrous! Nas "Illmatic" is a 5 star album. Mobb Deep "Infamous" is a 5 star album. Biggie "Ready To Die" is a 5 star album. Louie "Best Kept Secret" is a 0 star album that, in all honesty, should NOT have been released.

Comment: This album is aiight, not bad at all. Gave it a few listens and its growing on me. Could've been a little better on the production but it got a real underground sound to it thats why its growing on me. Wish he and his other dudes from O.G.C put out something new. He even shouts out Top Dog in his album good shit!

Comment: Man, someone must be paying these people to post 5 star ratings on this site. This album is way below par. Also, a lot of these tracks are old, and the album is just not cohesive at all. How are you going to be apart of the BCC and put out whack music like this. As much as I dig Louieville, he should have dropped more money into the project or find some qualified underground producers to bring heat for him.

Comment: Wow to be hatin' on the best release of the year so far you must really have issues. I understand that some of yall might not be feeling real hip hop (Soulja Boy is pretty popular), but why so much anger. Henny has been holding it down for more than 15 years and he's still putting out amazing musik. Support that CD if you want more of that heat. P.

Comment: According to the linear notes inside various BCC releases from the late 90's there was supposed to be a Fab 5 Album, and no I do not mean Heltah Skeltah's debut, which was a HS release, not HS+OGC.. anyway, the title mentioned in said notes was "Simply Fabulous" you can find this in HS's "Magnum Force", OGC's "M-Pire Shrikes Back" and the Duck Down Presents CD, among others. This was also mentioned in Black Moon's "War Zone" and Cocoa Brovas "Rude Awakening" as just "Fab Five Album" (coming in 1998).... This would have made for a fantastic album, and I AM SURE any fan of BCC would have picked this up.

Comment: Louiville is nice but what would be just as nice if not better is the Starang Wondah album that was supposed to drop a decade or so ago, it was featured inside a few bcc releases as well as The Fab 5 album, but neither ever dropped... anyway... BCC!!
