Comment: Mac is a Hip Hop artist. The dude's real, and he no kind of a wanna-be/wigger. He sounds like a Pittsburgh dood if you've ever been there you know. He does like to make party music, and not so much of the ancient scriptures, and sacrifice type of horror rap that the "underground" that y'all geeks listen to. Underground. I would call him a sellout, and he damn sure isn't a garbage rapper. I don't give a shit what people here say. I am a true hip hop fan, I also like Mac, because he's nice with his. This album isn't as good as I hoped, but it's still popping. I'm sorry, but I would listen to this any day before some hyper political, preacher shit. When I was a young'n in the 90's under ground was pop music of that time, but the quality of it beat the shit out of the underground these days... or should I say you rap geeks underground, not mine. I'm back, and I meant to write I wouldn't call him a sellout. Another thing I find funny is the underground hip hop of today is loaded with white rappers. I find it entertaining how people can respect a rapper that's ripping tracks talking about all kinds weird encyclopedia shit. Not many cats can do that write imo. When I was coming up Wu was always top of everything for me. I hated everything that wasn't grime and dirt street shit. I even hated Jay z because he made dance songs. I hated hooks with rnb on them, unless it was a dirty soul sample, but no sucker shit for me.... It took a long time, but years later I was blessed, and stepped of my box. I now just listen to good music, I don't care genre IF IT'S GOOD... I just love music. Happy, Sad, Angry, Aggressive, Fast or slow. Hope some of you white boy wiggers grow up to be white Men that make sense in ur theory. y'all did the same shit to Asher Roth. He did kind of sound like em, but not close enough to hate. That cat can rhyme his ass off, and so can miller

Comment: The record is really dope. I have to admit I initially wasn't a fan, but after hearing more of his music recently he's definitely got skills. Mac Miller is a very versatile emcee, check out his freestyles, in particular one over a premo beat, or he can also do the club banger. Don't front.

Comment: 1st off I'm a true rap/hip-hop fan. I've got about 90% of rap albums that came out in da "mid-90's aka golden era" and honestly, this album is "dope" in my opinion. Big L(rip) is 1 of his influences, by that being said Yall know what's up! I DONT think that there is a 19 year like mac miller that would know about BIG L and other undaground rap legends.

Comment: Monotone with no emmotion, lacks flow, can't feel or connect with it. Also I think the dude tries to come off way to hard, when he basically looks like a white Urkel

Comment: So wait this guy gets features + production from Just Blaze, 9th Wonder, DJ Premier, Just Blaze, The Cool Kids, Khrysis, Bun B, Talib Kweli, etc., knows Big L's Lifestylez Ov Da Poor N Dangerous front to back gets co-signs from De La, Jazzy Jeff and on an underground website he gets a 2. Damn you underground critical pussies can never like anybody especially if they're getting big. Sure he's no lyrical spiritual rapper, but who cares not everything has to be lyricism in hip hop. And before you judge me I listen to Wu-Tang, Pharoahe Monch, Chino XL, Canibus, Torae, Reks, Skyzoo, Danny Brown, Roc Marciano & Action Bronson. But I enjoy Mac as well.

Comment: Mac Miller is a dope artist for this era in Hip-Hop. He's got a dope flow, marketing scheme and he's young. Like him or not, Mac Miller is gonna be around for a long time. He's got a good resume and hasnt even signed to a major label yet. Had tracks produced by Premo, statik selekatah, and alchemist. Dont hate if you dont feel the kid, it might not be right for you!
