Comment: If you think this sounds like Slug, listen to the earlier album from around 2000 or 2002. Album is called "Ben" or something else which he later released as a free mixtape. He's Slug's direct carbon copy. That album will leave you with absolutely no doubt what so ever he stole his style from Slug.

Comment: Okay, I had to give this thing 1 star. The Can't Hold Us song is the most played out pop-crap I have ever heard. Macklemore is straight biting Slug (Slug said everyone bites/borrows styles, but any respectable MC does not bite the style, flow, beats, and lyrical content=Weak). Finally, I just saw a F-ing Dr. Pepper commercial with Macklemore talking about how original they are. Whack sh*t! As a Seattlelite I apologize for this crap hopefully Sadistik and BSBD can redeem us. Wacklemore, Cacklemore, is terrible. Hopefully, their one hit wonder success ends soon and we never hear from them again.

Comment: This is like the g-rated sellout version of Slug and Sage Francis with one exception both Slug and Sage have better beats. Many rappers borrow styles but, these are blatant counterfeit with no originality in terms of vocal style, intonation, breathing, and even content. Please don't buy this garbage.

Comment: Can't get into this music no matter how many times I listen to this crap. It is pure pseudo-intellectual Seattle yuppie garbage. Can someone please tell Macklemore to stop biting Slug's flow and style? I would tell him myself being that I live in Seattle, but I can't justify wasting any money going to this fools hipster shows.

Comment: Fake clear, UK bootleg bullsh*t. This UK guy keeps stealing everyone's music and releasing 100's of vinyl releases. I'm excited for when he goes to jail I bet it will be on the news with the amounts of music he's been stealing.

Comment: Honestly, this is some Billboard #1 pop hop shit...but it's by FAR the illest popular rap I've heard in like a decade. Not to mention, the guy still hasn't switched to a major label. Props to Macklemore for this shit.

Comment: Most progressive album I've heard all year. The chemistry between Macklemore and Ryan Lewis is incredible. I'm surprised this isn't on the top sellers.

Comment: Macklemore's been gimmicky since day one. He's just a dork with some dental work. That being said, he's good for the genre and in general good for culture to hear sensical ish.

Comment: I agree, a little too poppy/commercial - as mainstream gets a hold of this it's gonna blow up .. but nonetheless, this is progressive quality hip hop, and it works.. I dig

Comment: I love the content of Macklemore's lyrics, but some of Ryan Lewis' beats just takes out the message. Even if it is done intentionally, or to add to the message, I just dont like it. Half these songs Keisha could sing over.
