Comment: You people need to calm down. It was a damn movie. This is only a stereotype if your mind chooses to see it in such a way. When I saw the shirt that never even factored into my mind because its such a ridiculous misinterpretation.

Comment: Classis flick! Seen it many, many times. I'd rock this! Shows you how precious life is and how quickly it can be taken. If you've seen the'd know! @Christina - Enough with "the white masn work" bull'ish. Are you that ignorant and dumb! This is a movie portraying what the BLACK youth had to go through while growing up. WTF does that have to do with "the white mans work"?? Sh*t, I'm white and even I know what the message of the movie was. You sound as dumb as you look....No doubt!!!

Comment: I agree with the poster below it does show this young man in a negative light and he was not that way. This shirt just reinforce stereotypes that the majority say about blacks as a whole. I would not buy this shirt. Steer away from this kind of thing, what needs to be focused on promoting with t-shirts positive visuals and quotes. Malcolm Martin, Obama, and many various leaders, stay on track and stay away from promoting negativity. Lloyd Avery was a minister, not a gangster or any other names you call him. He was a sweet guy. Thats all I have to say dn I will not put my money into anything like this.

Comment: You are doing the white mans work and the work of the devil by tearing down another brother and God's child. You will be cursed for this. I don't think his family would appreciate this. He died a Christian and saved many souls! Take it down or be boycotted and you can laugh all you want but I will do everything in my will to stop this nonsense.

Comment: Llody Avery II was a good person and had a good heart. He is being portrayed as negative. He became a Christian minister before his tragic death. This shirt is giving him a bad name and I think he deserves more respect then this. He is very handsome and a shirt with another picture would be better. Lloyd was a extremely positive man of God. We should remember Lloyd as a positive role model who spread the word of God.

Comment: The man on the shirt is very handsome. What's being portrayed is very negative. He became a minister, why not show something positive instead of reinforcing the lies and notions people make about him. Lloyd was a man of God and people need to know that. He wouldn't want this...maybe this would of been cool back in the 90's but Lloyd had a different outlook on the world itself. It's bad enough people stereotype anyway. Lets remember him is a positive light because he was a good person, a caring person, who was not like his movie characters and he was a innocent man.
