Maddox sounds like Maddox. Best album I've bought in a long time, you're all entitled to your opinion but at least say things that make sense, Rap is about lyrics, and Maddox has the sickest.

Name: Menace (Posted: 7/18/2010 8:00:00 PM; Partial IP: 6.0.185.30) Location: UK Comment: Easily one of the most impressive debuts to have come out of the underground in the last year or so, Long Beach’s Matt Maddox flaunts one quality that no amount of studio trickery can fake—confidence! His rhyme scheme is sharpened enough to lyrically lacerate, and he flips lines with such graceful ease that you wonder where he's been hiding all this time.
Asylum Artistry’s production (Ganjak, Desmond Martin, Nohokai, former Red Phone Records producer Nevahmind and others) is equally impressive, and complements Matt’s brash delivery to a t. The dopest tracks—“A New Hope”, “Rebel Resistance”, “Building For The Children”, “Scars And Strips”, “There Will Be Blood”, “You Are The Resistance” – are practically instant classics.
Not once does he sound unsure of himself nor does he slip up on his delivery, whether he's raising awareness about the troubling state of the world or proving that he's underground elite. Although you can’t help but wish he came at some underground rappers who claim elite.
Followers of Red Phone Records have been up on this guy for a minute, now its time for the rest of the world to recognise. Matt Maddox has a message and he won’t stop until it’s heard. There will be blood.
