    Summary

Hailing from Brownsville, Brooklyn, Billy Danze and Lil Fame have solidified their reputation as iconic lyricists through their years of hard-hitting rhymes and unparalleled tenacity. Never compromising their style and having shared the mic with industry greats such as Jay-Z, Jadakiss, Styles P, Guru, ODB, Busta Rhymes, and Redman, just to name a few, the duo has rightfully earned its status as one of the most revered acts in hip-hop today.

In Late July 2011, Billy Danze took to Conspiracy Worldwide Radio to break the news that M.O.P.'s upcoming album will be a collaborative effort with German & Danish production team, the Snowgoons. Speaking on the album, Danze said, "[Snowgoons] just sent us some fire...those dudes are incredible...when you hear this project, you're going to be satisfied as an M.O.P. fan and a Snowgoons fan." Ensuring fans around the world that this will be one of their most diverse sounding albums, the Mash Out Posse member went on to praise the Snowgoons, proclaiming, "they've got everything...they're blazing through and coming from different angles. These guys providing us with that dramatic sound, with those theatrical sounds, with that hard hip-hop...they supplied us with everything. I'm really psyched about this project."

Comment: Where's the vinyl? That's two MOP releases in a row without a real pressing. Can't believe I spent 12+ years thinking Berk and Womack were "real." Oh well that's showbiz! Snowgoons is an apt moniker, those clowns wouldn't know warmth if volcano 86'd their town. RIP hip-hop.

Comment: Danzini spit real hard and focused, the production was tight too and fits M.O.P. well. The Snowgoons did what they had to do on the production tip, provide beats that put the emphasis on the rappers.

Comment: Woah there, I was not expecting this to be as good as it turned out. Snowgoons ain't really been on there A game since their Black Snow album and their overall sound was getting worse with each release they put out after, along with the weaker quality of MC's that were appearing on there albums after their second smash but I always thought that they made better beats for other artists outside of their own compilation albums, that bein said, M.O.P have neva been wack but they been in the wilderness for a while now... until this dropped. Title track is an instant classic and booooy do Danze & Fame turn up the heat with hardbody lyrics and gutter flows all over. I think being only 10 tracks deep made the album even better. aside from maybe 1 or 2 above average beats, Snowgoons really deliver in the beats department and compliment M.O.P's rugged and raw style perfectly. I'd def put this in the top 10 for the year..., maybe even top 5.... top 3 for def, in order, are 1) Apathy - Honkey Kong - 2) Tragic Allies - Tree of Knowledge - 3) Bronze - School for the Blindman... forget the haters judge them purely on this release, not past hits and misses... these guys rep the underground so we should be thankful that MOP continue to put out quality hip hop after almost 20yrs in the game. Well done boys! You've helped make the last half of 2011 an absolute killer time for real hip hop.

Comment: 1st off I'm a big fan of m.o.p and I'm also a fan of da snowgoons but I honestly think that they could've done better with "some beats" IMO. My favorite track is "OPIUM" that track goes hard raw lyrics over a bangin' beat. I hope they get some production by "premier" on da next album cause it surprised me that he only produced 1 track on "foundation". Anyways this album still is bangs and is goin' in my "collection" nuff said!!

Comment: The same shit again. These idiots are the most repetitive and boring n*ggas out there, all the fuckin albums have the same wack subject in every track, two clowns pretending to be "gangstas". PURE WACKNESS, throw that shit far away and avoid suchlike garbage if you support real hip hop.

Comment: @ Fame Man, I'm not trippin'. Back in the days I used to be a big fan of M.O.P. "The Warriorz" is one of my top 5 albums. But seeing that almost all of the old school artists don't even touch that level that made them famous back in the days I prefer to be reserved until I heard the new album drops. If you see the ratings I give to the artists you'll see that I'm not a playa hater. If the new M.O.P. album will be fire, than... 5 stars from me is the right rating. Peace, out!

Comment: only 10 tracks? dj illegal is idiot. all that pork is rotting his brain. lord lhus gets the snowgoons epic, 20 tracks. m.o.p. gets only 10. I don't buy EPs give me my money worth you german thief. once most highly anticpated album, now I am disgust with dj illegal. also very upset that sicknature sean strange have a group with PMD. sean strange and sicknature suck at rap, and hav 0 fan. PMD is once proud legend, working with pale face clown rapper. snowgoons must make each of the 10 track classic, or else great failure and no monies. lil fame better producer than snowgoons anyways.
