Comment: Dope album from start to finish. 9th did his thing and so did Murs. What I love about him is that he doesn't take himself too seriously ( a la Ill Bill, Immortal Tech, Canibus, Necro), he hits you with that dope but keeps it light-hearted enough for you to enjoy with other people or even your girl. Dope battle rhymes, story-tellin', tracks about women...very well balanced. One of this year's top 5 releases easily.

Comment: UNLESS the instrumentals are on the other vinyl and not just being offered as a digital dl. Which doesnt seem to be the case, but whatever, 10 tracks- not worth 20 bucks.

Comment: Not hating in any way, but I wish heads would quit calling an EP an LP, when clearly, 10 songs or less equals an Extended Play release. This should be selling for no more than ten bucks.

Comment: Tracks 1-7 are dope, some of the best hip hop of the year Murs' storytelling rhymes are up there with the best. Unfortunately 8-10 are pretty average so 7/10 amazing tracks = 4 stars, worth buying for real.

Comment: felt flat to me. production and rhymes were fine but nothing really bowled me over. I liked that Asian girl track for the gimmick (played it for my Asian girl). I think you can hear hungry when an artist has it, these cats are mad talented but havent been hungry in years.

Comment: 9th needs to stop making these weak ass beats for murs. the last ablum they made together was weak as hell too. I am not too crazy over murs lyrics but he brings good vibes to the table. 9th's production for skyzoo, little brother, and his solo material are straight but when it always comes to murs it seems like he dumbs down his beats. 9th needs to step up and murs some better beats... or murs needs to pick better one's.

Comment: The hot dogs is extra crispy and if you don't cook the s!@t on the grill ni@@a miss me! I gave this album 5 stars because I like the soul and chemistry that has been put into this album. I am a big fan of 9th Wonder's production and I love it when Murs raps over his beats. The formula: Classic samples and drum loops. I love it. Everything just connects (for me anyway). The songs that stand out for me are Fornever, Asian Girl, Cigarettes and Liquor(I love the sample used here), Vikki Veil, and West Coast Cinderella. But the major head banger for me (and I think I speak for a lot of people when I say this) has to be "I Used to Love H.E.R.{Again}". Brought back a lot of memories for me. Even if you don't like Murs and 9th Wonder, "I Used to Love H.E.R.{Again}" will make you want to purchace this classic cd.

Comment: Feeling the other 9th and Murs releases alot more. 38.137.188 must be Murs himself. Commenting like it's people from all over the country but with the same IP address. Good idea but it's too obvious man. Tell 9th to get back to Little Brother, they desperately need him. Their filler lines need better production!

Comment: I actually like this joint a lot... The recipe is that same but he added a few different guests.... To me it's way better than the last one in which I found it to be boring.... I think that this is a grow on you type cd and I'm cool with that... I think all the beats are more than solid, guests are cool and murs does his thing.... I don't even mind 9th gettin his rap on, it actually added a bit of flav to it since he doesn't normally do it....He is no Pete Rock, Rza or Large Pro, but he was as good as Hi Tek and it reminded of that... 3.5 for me... Just a nice solid CD, nothin more nothin less..

Comment: I was very disappointed with this album. I am a big 9th Wonder fan. Not just L.B. but all his productions. 3:16 and Murrys Revenge were classic, even Sweet Lord was a dope promo album. Something is missing in this one. It lacks something I can't explain. Beats weren't the usual 9th (I know hes using an MPC now) and the content wasn't great. 9th once said in an interview that the only thing we would never see him do is rap and now he has. It wasn't a bad 16 but it was not nessecary. Plus its enough of these 10 track albums. I'll support the next one.

Comment: Average. Definitely their worst album yet. The beat on "Asian Girl" is dope, but the content is garbage...a wasted beat. And I'd say the only track I really like is "The Problem is" because Sick Jacken is becoming one of my favorite rappers out. he killed that "Pressure" track on the new SAS album. but yea, not impressed at all by this weak 10 tracker...i understand the others were just as short but they were pretty much solid top to bottom

Comment: Really tho? "...if 9th was ever on" ??? I don't know, how long has Thomas Edison's first lightbulb been on? LOL I surely hope the increasing tension between 9th and LB isn't adversely swaying these bad ratings, cause... It has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with THIS particular project. Now that that's in the air, I'ma rate... I think this album is pretty decent overall. I love the beats. They're not necessarily the rarest selection of samples, but 9th Wonder is definitely gettin' more organic with his instrument usage. Thus, this album is overall a step for the better in his list of productions. MURS comes correct on every track. He proves he is a veteran in the art of storytellin in tracks like "West Coast Cinderella", "Let Me Talk", and "Vikki Veil". The only major slump in this album is the song "Asian Girl". To me, it's not because 9th chose to rap on it. The verse isn't horrible for his FIRST EVER 16 bars on wax. More power to him for that, cuz ain't nothin wrong with experimentation. Hi-Tek did it, Pharrell did it, Jazze Pha did it. Of course, 9th doesn't compare to MURS lyrically, but I have no problem with him spittin. Overall, I think the album is pretty much on par with the Sweet Lord album. Both classic releases.

Comment: 9th wonder fell the fuck off. beats are garbage on this, plus 9th tryin to rap now? we put up with pete rock and alchemist raps cuz they're all time greats, 9th is not. he needs to check himself. 3:16 was incredible. this album actually sucks. ive tried gettin into it, not happening, beats are WACK. truth be told, 9th been wack for a while. murs still got it, he should do something with madlib or something. if 9th thought his beats were hot on this, hes finished. wheres the soul? just cheap drums and weak sampling. I was lookin forward to this, sad to say its a letdown. 9th tripping over his ego and cant make quality music anymore.

Comment: Not the best effort from these guys but its good, wish it was longer with only ten songs and too many featured artists on the album, only 3 tracks are murs alone. It seems like the ideas for the songs on this came from previous albums with different topics. Def give it a listen

Comment: LOL @ Milly Vanilly. I ain't got shit to prove to you homie. That was all truth what I said to 9th when I first met him. I work for Green Bench Productions and we've done 4 videos so far for 9th Wonder's artists under his label The Academy, including Tyler Woods, Thee Tom Hardy, and Rapsody. Honestly, I could give two shits if you believe me or not, but you can always look it up if you don't. They're all on YouTube. Tyler Woods' "Slow Jamz", Tyler Woods' "Prove Myself" Thee Tom Hardy/Rapsody/D-Mal "As We Shine", and Tyler Woods/Sheek Louch "Hello". The proof is in the pudding, hence my location. Not tryin to boast or brag, but take your jealousy elsewhere. It's not that serious...

Comment: how come it looks like lif on the cover lol, jk. nah this album will be dope. these two cats should just be a group and continue to make dope music. maybe someday 9th can produce a felt album or something. the whole lil brother fiasco thing is getting old, they should squash that mess asap and make smash hits again, although khrysis holds his own on the boards right now for pooh and phonte but hes no 9th. either way I am looking forward to this release. peace

Comment: Seems like it's been a little while for both 9th and MURS. Can't wait for this drop... In response to LARS, I don't know what the deal is with 9th and Phonte. I think it's just some trivial pride shit. I actually got to holla at 9th a few months back while I was helpin to shoot the music video for Tyler Woods' "Slow Jamz". He said Tay and Pooh kicked him out the group. I told him that he needed to squash that beef shit, cuz even Nas and Jay-Z eventually squashed their beef. Their music is bigger than that. I know he took that to heart, but I guess we'll see how much contribution 9th gives to Little Brother's upcoming LeftBack album...
