    Summary

NEHRUVIANDOOM is Bishop Nehru's debut album. Produced by Metal Fingers and featuring MF DOOM vocals on several tracks, it's a compact nine track, 30 minute long player.

Bishop Nehru's breakthrough mixtapes, released from the age of 15 saw him rhyming over DOOM produced instrumentals. DOOM joined the line of MCs who co-signed the young rapper including heavyweight lyricists Kendrick Lamar and Nas, who introduced him on stage during his set at SXSW as "The future of music".

Still only 17, Bishop has wrapped up his debut album for Lex, a collaborative project with MF DOOM.

Comment: Lol why you cant say sh*t? lol just keep typing those Zombie ass comments. theres way too many MCs in the independent underground not only in the States but all over the world, so I cant say im a groupie, I just appreciate artists who deserve acknowledgement who dont have resources to mainstream distribution who really do it to put food on the plate and dont splurge and who do it for the Art and can a f*ck about the bullsh*t Commerce, and who dont suck Big label CEO d*ck. "H"ip Hop in it's "E"ssence is "R"eal. I have way too many references in mind to be a just a fan of one MC or producer or artist. and the list goes on and on starting from Organized "K"onfusion, all era(s) of the 80's 90's early 2000's EDAN and any production that got the spirit of the soul funk jazz and boom bap sh*t with any 90's MC vocal syllable sequenced in complex turntablist musicality (especially legendary Rakim Percee P, Kane fast Raps). I know the mainstream would dare to exploit that vocal art form or else there would be a second Golden era or third like World War III.

Comment: "Paragraph" there lol. This anonymous troll probably believes WWE wrestling is real. It's so fun having the troll think im retarded. "Whack" lol. he tried hard makin it in one line but failed badly. everyone's two cents counts, even if its a thesis lol. as if one liners ever help give strong feed back technically that might help the artist or other consummers or business owners. just like saying "this sh*t is good" and thats it and has no reason to back it up with details why its good. those one liners still count no matter how much they have no purpose to help the consumer or the artist. paragraphs make life more interesting, rather than one liners which everyone can easily take for granted no matter how inarticulate they are. theres more of an art to express in words, than droppin one line or two or three or four which everyone just skips cause their isn't much substance in simple sh*t like that. I can agree or agree to disagree with alot of other writers that really have something to say who take value of word quality serious because they find a connection personally to the music/art being sold thats on this site. who gives a f*ck if someone is sick of paragraphs, thats their personal problem. if you see a chunk of text in the comments, its up to the reader/person to choose if they want to read it or not, why bother being sour just because its taking up much space. the internet is vast and why bother being anal about usage of space. now thats conservative on how much usage of brain cells it takes to be a conservative one liner or two or three or four. feel free to express as much as you feel the need to be creative and smart or wise, use it to the fullest while you can cause you'll never know when we will lose that freedom to speak your mind and share with others who care about quality.

Comment: This site is the one site I come to… to not have to deal or see this garbage back and forth nonsense. Trolls, nerds, whatever. If it isn't even about the music that's on the page wtf are you doing, although I'm doing it now sadly. Go to hhdx or 2dopeboys and argue about who's hotter right now or who has more money - keep that away from this site.

Comment: That's quite the complement, I'd laugh it was the same W A C K writer who just cant get enough of my "putrid paragraphs" but he must be on a different computer and that's why he cant put a legit name and location. still cant get enough of my "putrid paragraphs. and maybe that's the reaction I was hoping for out of people who still dont know any better. just hop on the band wagon like all the other trolls who like to start sh*t but cant drop any real 411 on any Hip Hop History beyond a decade and a half. sh*t is too damn obvious that he has to write W A C K sh*t in his name just to hide. it really does intrigue me that this person has to react, real recognize real and I really dont give a sh*t if you think im a loser lol nor does anybody who doesnt know me and my life so stop actin like you care enough to call me loser, like a bad step mother you are. most people wouldnt care to react. only reason why I write is because I give a f*ck about what people should know about certain artists that need acknowledgement other than the bull sh*t that's out these days. you could drop the 411 on any of these artists cause you obviously dont pay attention to who they are and the industry that's f*ck up. your just like any other wack mother f*cker who cant contribute to the Hip Hop community until you become a real supporter. I got good intentions do you? id dedicate my life to Hip Hop while others who dont know sh*t call me a loser. its better that you dont read this cause only the real recognize the real. so go buy the physical album and leave off with out knowing that other people will read this and think your the troll and other trolls or should I say e-boys who cant face the fact like a coward that they are able to be positive people with a good cause. I dare everyone who thinks this troll or trolls who hates "putrid paragraphs" write him a paragraph and out do his two liners and see if hell call you a loser too. if he does then he is the truest of all trolls that have no purpose. if you disagree with me, that's ok too I wont call you a troll but will be intrigued that you agree with the troll who cant put a legitimate name or location. or just wait till the troll reacts with another anorexic two liner maybe upgraded to four, and see what other names he comes up with lol. he might come back lol you know trolls are addicted to these situations. im proud to be your real loser that helps out the Hip Hop community and it does give me a poetic license to be a loser like all the starving artists who go out for the dolo. btw J-zone is my favorite villain, go read his book. im sure Bishop Nehru would agree with me. Elemental sh*t for you trolls abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz aeiou 123456789 10 learn some sh*t troll, and I made it simple for you simpletons.

Comment: Did this guy really just write another paragraph and this time it isn't even about the album. Get a life this guy is whaaaaaaack! Please write a paragraph to me for saying this. I can guarantee I won't read it because I have a life and won't be back to this page. I already bought the album and I'm waiting for it to arrive so there is no need to come back to this page. Comment: Real sorry people, I have a groupie who just can't get enough of my "putrid paragraphs" my my my, thinks I'm a pointdexter, probably has my baby pictures too and obsesses over my writings. Probably knows everything about me, that's beautiful. Probably waiting outside from where I live just to stalk me, sorry I just appreciate trolls that take the time to get to know me like this one wants to date me but he's self-conscious about his appearance and disappointed wishing that I wasn't straight. Should I make it simpler than that with anorexic two liners so that you wouldn't get cut off by YouTube's limitations on comments lol, I know that can cause psychological effects to someone like you. Because he's YouTube's bitch troll that conforms to simplifying what he has to say limited and no brainers. "Revenge of the Nerds" was too graphic for you kid go watch rainbow bright or something. lambda lambda lambda was the coolest fraternity kid, sorry I'm hurting that only one brain cell it takes for you to comprehend a whole bible I write you so willingly study secretly like my bestest fan. Sorry this guy just can't get enough of my nerd like qualities lol. Sorry he's just making me sound narcissistic as I speak. it's just his way of saying I'm intelligent. I could imagine him looking like Ogre. If he's using references to a movie he doesn't know why use it. Sorry he's probably just holding back and he's a scientist for a missile assembly factory in some hidden location, he just doesn't want to blow his cover, right yupie? (more like chirping crickets in the background) he secretly enjoys my creativity. Lol

Comment: What's funny is I know who would choose to use the word "urban". and the speak of this particular devil... probably thinks KRS-ONE is a "nerd" for being intelligent. yes 25 plus years and I have not heard anyone use the term "urban" unless they are from a particular radio station I know that perpetrates against... or tries to act ass if they support the underground but in actuality they play it of by playing all formats(isolated rap music with isolated fans in the United States that don't know that the world is bigger out there) of Rap even mainstream pop rap because most of the djs have no experience of the culture previous to listening to your local corporate mainstream so called "Home of Hip Hop and R&B" radio. they are a college radio but they fake the funk because no one there has had experience with real Hip Hop for over a decade and a half, just newbies who probably been listening to top 40 sh*t on corporate radio with in a decade. all the other college radios around my area know what college radio they are. this college radio thinks they are open minded because their format covers a wide range of Rap music and even the wack ones too, without a focus for the good real sh*t. so the word "urban" is used because the city I live in doesn't take kindly to Hip Hop culture since the 90's so they are forced to use the word "urban" with in that college radio station instead of Hip Hop. and that gives it away obviously, and its only from a state university thats doing this, even Stanford does a way better job with doing justice by picking the right Real Hip Hop music for their University college radio. if you use the word "urban", that word has to be the most corniest word to use when describing a culture which is now global. like saying hey billy did you see those black guys acting foolish to that "urban" music that doesn't belong here (imagine yupie white people who are not fond of Rap/Hip Hop music make that remark, no offense to white people but you know who you are). well I could be wrong but if you aint got the brains to read and comprehend knowledge or maybe your just ignorant and closed minded to facts and truth. what I write is a fraction of what systematic textbook higher learning expects out of you. this guy writes like he only was born with two tumbs on his dumbphone and out from the womb like yesterday. talk about Adhd lol."Really?! No, Really?!!"

Comment: If your comments hold weight in subject matter and has a point of interest in those that read your comments then democracy of freedom of speech on an American website based on a American Store front is worth participating in voicing your opinions and facts. one reason why I say what I got to say is not only that I have been a fan of Real Hip Hop for at least 25 years but your voice on this platform is being heard not only by others that comment on this site but by Business owners that want to develop a focus on what buyers and users are targeting to purchase, and it gives them more significance to purchase with a little more information added. Other record labels and artists who have their products on this site or other sites like this one read the comments and get a better idea of real opinions and critical feedback or constructive criticism to gauge what their audience or supporters want. This is a better way to give intelligent feedback and gives the record label or artist more value in what they do, and that is keeping it positive and helps the culture develop and come up with new ideas. I could care less about the next commenting person who doesn't do what I do or doesn't help the community have a better understanding of the Hip Hop culture. If any commenting person reads my sh*t and gets intrigued, then were on the same page, I always keep it on wise thought. Don't be a wise person trying to be smart. Being wise and being smart are two different things. Being smart means you don't have much experience but only deals with things on the temporary short term. Wise means you have extensive knowledge and have proper placement of intelligence in the right order at any given time. I don't try hard either or try to be grammatically correct, but I do have a creative mind with intelligence, do you?

Comment: All independent record shops support independent music, of course. If you don't understand what independent music is and the meaning and significance to being independent according to the artists own creative control and distribution to all the independent record shops all over the world in other countries, then you must be a mindless conforming idiot to Big Label corporate mind control in the United States. Lex records was a subsidiary to Warp records and managed to stand on its own and become a independent label, which most independent labels harbor artists that are creative in their own rite (without the need of ghost writers). To gain Popularity isn't the objective of a true artist, nor is the sales of how many units are being sold even though its quality music. You would have to wake up to reality to realize the geniuses of art as a gift to the world regardless of how much you would pay for art (art/music) that is priceless from an independent artist. to purchase a product or piece from an artist is supporting their liveliness as income and maybe contributing to the creating of more pieces(art music etc.). Corporate big labels are trying to put out bull sh*t in independent record shops who also carry big label record music. They're booking the record pressing plants far in advance and taking much of these vinyl pressing plants time and the independent labels don't have a chance to press any vinyl at these plants in time for Vinyl record day which has already passed - now thats f*cked up, "GARBAGE". There is a greater cause in supporting independent music by independent artists and you'd feel better helping out those that deserve it and give them recognition and acknowledgement. F*ck being an E-boy/E-girl, be a true B-boy/B-girl that supports the Hip Hop culture.

Comment: As far as DOOM beats especially more recent fresh out of the box sh*t, I heard from somewhere that where he is residing or where his location were everything that consists of what he uses for production including his record collection isn't in one place because he moved, and everything might not be accessible when he needs his sh*t. That's what I heard, and that was a few years ago or more or at least if I was up to date with that information at the time. DOOM had to borrow records from Madlib for more recent productions within the last I'd say decade or less. Clearance for samples is also a factor when putting out new sh*t and it can take forever until they get the approval especially in these days when most producers go for the easier ways out of a situation which means bullsh*t beats. There is a high demand for good beats and production especially for sample based production even if its samples from an obscure record or source. A lot people don't take into consideration what it takes to produce sh*t traditionally which is a dying art and a high awareness for older sh*t that most don't over look at, you got to be a real good digger to know these things and sh*t that sounds refreshing and can hold up with the current trends that are more popular. Being an underdog because the majority of generalized rap producers go with software kits that don't sound as organic only make it more important to represent for that breed of producers that acknowledge the forgotten greats even if back in the day they didn't have great distribution even if it was on wax and was force to be independent just to share with the world. I'm not going to throw tantrums over my favorite producer or hip hop artist just because the settings and times weren't right for them, I'm just thankful I have the opportunity to support great artists and not force stress on trying to meet deadlines especially if they are independent, you got to have respect for the artist in order for them to put out quality art, music, dance, etc .

Comment: Well this video is another RECYCLED beat by DOOM and with only 9 tracks how much NEW work did he really do on this. Getting tired of the same beats being put on new releases, it's becoming real f*cking garbage for a guy who I had has a top producer like 7 years ago. DOOM can't fool me into buying this album - 9 tracks and 1 song I know is a recycled beat. Get the f*ck outta here with that scheme, I don't care how good this new MC is we all want to hear new production from DOOM but we getting Special Herb beats that 10 years old and been re-released like 3-5 times.

Comment: I recognize the musicality in his syllables. kind of reminiscent of a young Special ED with the verbal carrying skills of Parish Smith (PMD) but keeps it moving with the flow and not too many pauses like brain farts or lack of approach to style. If its kiddie raps, last I checked Illegal or at least Jamal (Def Squad) was eatin other kid emcees/rappist with that caliber. He's not quite on the ra ra tip, and you know what energy that brings, don't know who he is, maybe a hidden member of Pro Era, and that's a good thing when the element of mystics are present. Now this is just a first gander and I've only listened to the video with only paying attention to the immediate feel because I am biased with references in mind that remind me of legends(did my homework a long time ago all for the name of longevity) it's like someone telling you to not change for anyone for the sake of them telling you to be you as you yourself are inspired by history that roots you with foundation. Maybe it's the spirit of the golden era that haunts kids and possess them once they wake up to reality and not the factory preset default of industrial game or celeb bankruptcy and the lack of creativity/ once corporate bullsh*t gets to the head it's over, you're just a puppet.

Comment: Nas was 18/19 years old on 'Live at the Barbeque' by Main Source and he killed that verse. How about Shyheim? He was 15 when "On and On" was released and doing his thing. Memphis Bleek was 18 on Jay-Z's Reasonable Doubt album… not to mention Joey Bada$$. Do some research on your hip-hop history before prejudging.
