Comment: MORE MONEY TO THE PEOPLE... TO THE GRASSROOTS HIP HOP and will it matter to Jay z even if he went broke as doing so with out the tabloids knowing lol THE BBOY CYPHER IS MORE SACRED THAN THAT!!! and he should know better about the culture as he says "i do this for my culture" do it Jay z only the mainstream will give you credit, and seriously would it matter to true heads he probably thinks hes beyond the four elements. HIGHER INFINITE POWER HEALING OUR PEOPLE mean anything to any body these days? OF COURSE...but is Jay z HIGHER INFINITE POWER TO BBOYS AND BGIRLS ALL AROUND THE WORLD!?!

Comment: i remember the video to 'When I Make It' as seen on Yo! Mtv Raps, pretty much was one of the first videos that I remember that gave you visuals of what a SP 1200 looks like, and as a 14 year old in 92 I didnt know any better of what it was and I wasnt so aware or concerned of what tools and the term production meant to put a song or an album together or evern the business of it all. it was just a trend I didnt think so much of and wasnt at a level of understanding for the art of Hip Hop, but I knew I loved it, at the time it was just considered popular just because it had a video on television, there wasnt much info or resources that you could research of a certain Hip Hop artist but only on Hip Hop publications and magazines, no internet or search engines or data bases of music or even blogs or itunes etc. Just only interviews by Chris Thomas (Rap City), ED Lover & Doctor Dre (YO! Mtv Raps), and of course Fab Five Freddy (early Yo! Mtv Raps) and other journalists who gave interest and time to publish an article. didnt have Video Music Box in the West Coast and thats how simple it was, Hip Hop wasnt on dog years like it is now integrated to the internet. Now about the group called Original Flavor... what surprises me is that UGHH didnt have their second album titled 'Beyond Flavor' from 93 with the more recognizable song off of this album titled 'Can I Get Open' which features of course Jay z, and pretty much the only song in Jay z's solo career that you will ever hear a song like this play at a Bboy Jam with approval, and thats a good thing, but you will never see or hear Jay z rap or flow like this again, peep the youtube video out. OH BUT WAIT!... how about Jaz O (Jay's mentor) and Jay z on a song titled 'Originator' lol... look that up! it may be worthy of playing at a Bboy Jam all because of the distinct style from the Golden Era. but honestly who plays Jay z at a BBoy Jam....EVER!!! if you knew of Original Flavor and did witness its debut first hand in the past then if you listened to it now it would definitely be a nostalgic moment after two decades have passed.
