Product Details

Slice-Of-Spice have teamed up with Oxygen and Gensu Dean to present the "Gone Diggin' (Diggin' By Law Remix)" project.

Oxygen is an unsong Long Island hip hop Emcee recording with Sputnik Brown, SPOX PhD and Soundsci who's breaking out in 2012 with a slew of quality releases. Slice-Of-Spice have teamed up with him to remix his underground hit "Gone Diggin" with the track's original producer Gesu Dean (Lo-Fingahz LP, Forever ft. Large Professor) for theis quality 10". This release also includes the previously unheard extended original, with both tracks being remastered and mix engineered by the legendary Eddie Sancho. The sound quality of this release is second to none!

As with all Slice-Of-Spice pressings no expense has been spared for this vinyl labor of love. The release includes a fullcolor jacket with a 3mm spine, printed on 15pt card featuring artwork and photography by Mr. Krum and Dan Love. The vinyl is a very heavy press of 100 grams, as we continue to follow the ethos of quality over quantity for our releases.

Comment: The confusion came from your lying asses not knowing your industry. There's a reason why REAL audiophile presses done at RTI have a big sticker right on the front of the record "PRESSED AT RTI".

Comment: To clarify this record was pressed with RI (Record Industry, in Holland) not RTI in California, so the confusion was caused by Phuc.Yew abbreviating the names of the pressing plants. We stand by our original comments posted on 12.17.12 below. We will always protect the artists best interests when people post what they claim to be 'facts', when they've never seen the record in the flesh or even heard it. We'd contest that a liar is someone who claims to be stating ‘facts', such as how it sounds, or where it's pressed, when they are completely wrong. It wasn't pressed by Pirates Press as incorrectly stated and with Gensu Dean, Eddie Sancho, and K-Def helping to put this audio down on a lacquer cut 100gram piece of wax, this record is of a superior quality. We've not lied about this record, there's no need to, but the uninformed Phuc.Yew is not interested in the facts or trying to look out for potential buyers, he's just continuing his own personal agenda. Something which is immediately flagged by his unnecessarily abusive and childish comments. Thanks to those who've already supported this release!

Comment: Phuc Yew sounds like he's alone and has nothing else to do but whine about everything. Maybe he should put something out.... Anything so that everyone can shred it to pieces just because. Grow up man and get a life

Comment: Phuc.Yew needs to do some real research instead of sounding like a busted record every time an SOS record is released. Gone Diggin' isn't pressed by Pirates Press, it's a heavy 100 gram 10" lacquer cut in one of the best plants in Europe. Mixed by Eddie Sancho, and Mastered by K-Def. Not proper mastering PY? SMH! It's good to see Phuc.Yew approves of RTI as an AP quality mastering and pressing plant. That's exactly who pressed this record! Thanks to everyone who's supported this release and all our releases in 2012.
