SummaryLustre Kings productions is at it again, this time teaming up with Jamaican firecracker, Perfect Giddimani. This his fifth album, entitled "Back for the First Time" is unlike any of his previous. The usual suspects are once again behind LK's production team: Andrew "Moon" Bain, Laurent "Tippy I" Alfred, David "Jah D" Goldfine, and Nick Fantastic have again joined forces with executive producer Corrin Haskell to create another timeless reggae masterpiece. Perfect, who has also contributed some production on this album, is once again in fine form. His unique delivery, conscious lyrics, and dynamic style that fans have grown accustomed to are on full display through 16 tracks of this strictly roots and culture album. The first single/video, entitled "Hold On", is a tribute to recently incarcerated reggae general Buju Banton. His affectionate ode to Marijuana, "Never Gonna Stop", is a classic tune, smoothly voiced over I Grade records' "Be You" riddim. Musicians and engineers like "Santa" Davis, Dean Fraiser, Tony Greene, Chinna Smith, Dalton Brown, Delroy "Fatta" Pottinger, Dean Pond and Ras Abijah have all contributed their talents to the project. One of the most charismatic artists currently in Jamaica, the man known as "Giddimani" does not disappoint with this massive record.
