    Summary

    Muddy Waters is the third studio album from American hip hop artist Redman, released December 10, 1996 on Def Jam Recordings. The album peaked at twelve on the Billboard 200 chart and reached the top spot on the R&B Albums chart. By February 1997 the album was certified gold. Steve Huey of Allmusic, stated that "lyrically, Redman is as strong as ever," and of the overall work, remarked that "Muddy Waters solidifies Redman's growing reputation as one of the most consistent rappers of the '90s."

    Comment: Yes Yes Yall anutha funk doc "classic" album. This is his best album IMO, edouble was producin' some bangin' beats in the mid 90's and redman would rip da mic as usual. A lot of classic material in this album.

    Comment: 14 years later and I just sorta wish that eric sermon sound can be revived by e.sermon and redman can just hop on sermon comfy funky drums and baselines with those ill samples ... Redman was a beast too this point of his career and since has sorta been like a boxer who has the physical fitness to fight but not the hunger to win
