Summary

Few artists in hip-hop have afforded the longevity that Sadat X has. Unmoved by an inevitable changing of the guard in Rap, the X-Man remains a beacon of true, un-facsimiled artistry. In so many words, he sits atop the lists of your favorite rapper's favorite rapper.

Where so many of his peers have faded into obscurity, Sadat somehow continues to write innovative songs, deliver relevant contemporary commentary, and effortlessly staying tuned to trends of the day.

Having enjoyed an outstanding career in hip-hop, spanning nearly 3 decades as one of the genres most distinctive voices, his undeniable twang has commanded songs not just as 1/3rd of the fabled Brand Nubian (5 group albums), but alongside our genres greatest from Jay Z, Notorious B.I.G., Nas, & Common (to name a few). He's even been tapped by the likes of popular singer/songwriter Jack Johnson, legendary House-producer Miguel Migs and old-schooler MC Lyte all in recent months for collaborations on their respected albums.

And not just vocalists fiend for a good X verse; extraordinary producers from The Neptunes to Primo to Madlib to Prince Paul have all called in lyrics from the self-proclaimed Dot Father to accentuate their sound scapes.

Comment: Absolutely horrendous......production is crap and X's lyrics leave a lot to be desired......certainly can't compare to Wild Cowboys 1 or even Black October (and that was even sloppy)......thank god for the pete rock track.....was hoping for a lot more......where's Buckwild, Diamond D, Lord Finesse, Beatminerz, Beatnuts, etc when you need them......hopefully next time

Comment: The album is dope. It has a lot of healing aspects. I love Sadat X because of his honesty and integrity in the message of his rhymes. He always adds God awareness which is good because it gets tiresome and devilish hearing about the street life all the time. I live in the ghetto I want to get my mind out the ghetto.

Comment: this ain't bad, you can't compare this to the first wild cowboys, that had great producers in the prime of their game, part 2 not so much, the diamond d beat is surprisingly weak and buckwild's beat is boring, lots of average material here, but pete rock track and ill bill track are hip-hop classics, first wild cowboys was all classics, for sadat x fans

Comment: Disappointment! The worst track on Wild Cowboys 1 is 10x better than the best track on this album. This isn't Wild Cowboys II it's simply another bad Sadat X album with a flashy title. Every track on Wild Cowboys 1 was fire and not even one track on this album comes close. I think the cover on this album is representing how its is not even in the same ball park as the first Wild Cowboys.

Comment: Sorry but I have to say I m very disappointed - especially with that line up. 5 tracks are good, the rest is mediocre to downright bad.

Comment: Now then DottyX? This is a free flowin' rhymster. One of the last of the original wordsmiths. I mean Orih-G-nal. I am glad this dude keeps doin' it and has the support of true HipHop fans. Sadat since Derek X since BN FIRST dropped and subsequently until forever. I hope he realizes who he is and what he represents to this game and keeps doing it for US. Peaces baby... TRUE fan.
