Comment: shit bangs from begining to end.statiks a beast. People that hate on em dont usually know much about him or music. He samples alot but meshes alot of samples together and uses alot of real live instrumentation. Its REAL hard to use real live instrumentation blended with samples and have it sound uniform...statik also runs showoff hes got one of the best rosters in the game

Comment: not tryna hate but falling asleep with statik selektah releases, production is so boring and bland, no melody nothin to make you bump your head. i like my jazzy/mellow rap like everyone else but statik just dont cut it. like someone said kyo came out of nowhere (basically) and already has more stellar content than statik.

Comment: If you can't feel these beats, I feel sorry for the rest of your tone def pathetic existence. Seriously(?), did you guys start listening to rap when it became all wack synth beats? You missed a whole decade of the REALEST shit ever then and you should keep your meth addict opinions to yourselves. Almost every track is dope and OF FUCKING COURSE there is a bunch of features, this is a PRODUCER album! All the artists are dope too, so you fags must be from Germany or one of those Countrys that thinks they know fuck about Rap, but only knows Dilla beats and nothing else.

Comment: I'm really starting to think you people are retarded. Statik Selektah is the most average fuckin producer on the planet!! Good God, Statik, can't you just make ONE bangin' beat?! Just ONE!!! Guy is horrible!!! Never has catchy, ill melodies. Never has ILL beats, period! he's got 458 features on his album, how the fuck would he make any money off this? AND, why in the hell would Duck Down sign this idiot? His beats are WEAK AS HELL, WHAT IS ALL THE HYPE FOR??? Shit, even that guy Kyo Itachi, who recently just came outta nowhere is twice as good as Statik. SHIT, APATHY IS BETTER THAN STATIK SELEKTAH AT PRODUCING AND HE AIN'T EVEN A PRODUCER!!! Here's the real talk, the real deal right here. Production has become so wack in the past 8 or so years that you people will say ANYTHING is dope! You're settling for less and you don't even know it!! Fuck that! If I have to listen to 90's hip hop until I hear some good quality production, then I'll do that! Dude is trash! The 1982 album, horrible! The Reks album, horrible! Because Statik has these corny ass elevator, smooth jazz beats! Get this clown the fuck outta hip hop!

Comment: I think this album is great. I went to the release party and so most of the heads on here. Im honestly not sure what half you guys are complaining about. This album has solid consistent boom bap production. The lyrics are definetly there you get the old and the new. You have Sean Price to Action. Raekwon to Bada$$. Talib Kweli and Zombies. If anything this is the new face of how underground hip hop should sound

Comment: statik should be a talent agent or concert dj, he fuckin sucks as a producer but he did well for the reks and action albums, I never bother with his albums cause he is just weak on a production tip, I like to see Primo or Madlib or Confidence or Apollo Brown or someone in those lines come out with these crazy compilations, summer looks like a weak season for rap, Im looking forward to the malik b/green project, reks, ag da coroner album, analogic hopefully is heat, edo g and confidence, U-Gods album sounds tight, alpha faktion, etc etc far lot of flop albums, that ugly heroes sounds tight though, john robinson/itachi joint sounds good, I like to see a new roc marci oc joint, a new celph or apathy joint, some more heat come on

Comment: These snippets sounds a lot better than the last album. On a side note Mac Miller is suck a "Crash Test Rap Dummy". He looks like such a clown all tatted up in the video haha. Soft as ice cream plus his delivery is absolutely TERRIBLE!!! and it really shows after following up after Sean P's verse. Imagine what he's going to look like w/ gray hair and those tattoos. Total victim of the mainstream rap game. His rap career can't go on much longer than this.

Comment: More Features!!! For Statik's next album not just each verse will get a different feature, but every single fuckin bar will get a different feature. Amazing! (And Keno, he doesn't pay for shit, he has a satalite radio show so these dudes do it to make sure he keeps putting them on air - it's like Benzino at the source.) Statik needs to learn about COHESION.

Comment: dude statik is not a great beat maker! I dont get why people sweat him. his production is always sub par and he tries to make up for it with features. I heard the album preview on youtube and some of the songs are kinda dope. better than the other projects ive heard but it still lacks. most of the beats have horn samples and no melody. first few tracks are alright, even the one with mac miller who im not a fan of but the prodigy track is the only one that made an impression. maybe 4 tracks id repeat... out of the overkill of 18. dude wasted his money on all these features because it fails as a full length, which is ironically named EP. wont be buying the album, maybe 1 or 2 mp3s.

Comment: I feel you on the hating bullshit...wait and see how the track is before you diss it and I'm not even a Mac Miller fan but hes OKAY on some features I heard him on with the artist I do fuck with but I'm not jumping out there to buy his album besause PERSONALLY...that's rite...PERSONALLY,I think his tracks are corny...but it just seems like he comes with more fire when he's featured on a track with the rite producer and I can tell you this...STATIK is the rite producer to bring the best out of anybody and Sean Price will make any mother fucker step theyre game up...and by the way...I didn't fuck with half of the artist on "Population Control" but the album was turned me on to Jon Conner, XV, Smoke DZA, and a couple other artist that I didn't like just because they do mainstream songs but found out that's not all they do...I'm willing to give anything a listen but I do have a certain taste..Imma WU-Tang/MOBB DEEP/JEDI man, and like Dark beats but something else mite catch my ear from time to time because Hip-Hop is Universal and you can incorporate basically anything into it.
