Comment: I Enjoyed 9th n Buck's The Formula, Torae's Daily Conversation, Pete Rock's Ny Finest and Nicolay's Timeline. Emc's The Show is a dope album but only takes the #5 spot in album's ive personally enjoyed the most so far in 2008.

Comment: fabfive...i gotta know, what are the 5 albums better than EMC this year? I think the whole album is outstanding and as much as I like 9th and Buck, I don't think it even compares. I need to know what you think is better this year than emc so I can go buy it immediately if I don't already own it--please don't say the Roots is better.

Comment: Emc "The Show" has some dope tracks but also has some lackluster ones in the middle of the album..This 9th Wonder and Buckshot The Formula Album has Beautiful Beats all the way Through to the End. The Formula is the Best album of 2008 so far. Emc is maybe top 5 so far.

Comment: Koala...to each his own w regard to Pete Rock. You're right, there are plenty of producers who create great singles, but not many of them have had the lasting power the Pete has. I agree with you fully with regard to 9th, Muggs, Ant, etc.!!! Every Hip Hop fan out there needs to peep that EMC album! It's the best Hip Hop album I've heard in a long time! Incredible beats and excellent rhymes!

Comment: Personally, I think Soul Survivor 1&2 were average at best. I can probably name hundreds of producers who created classic SINGLES. Again, how many classic ALBUMS has Pete produced?(outside of the work with CL Smooth)Can anyone give me a reason why I can't mention 9th, Muggs, Ant, Stoupe, El-P, or DOOM in the same breath? BTW, great album by two of hip hop's finest.

Comment: First of all Pete Rock is an undeniable LEGEND. In response to Koala The Bum...the Soul Survivor albums are classic albums. Plus, don't forget all the tracks he's produced for other Rappers (i.e. Run DMC, Biggie, Nas, etc.). As for 9th Wonder, he's on his way to legendary status. I love 9th's production and think he continues to do his thing on this album. He's keeping hip hop real!

Comment: Angelson, can you name which classic albums Pete Rock has produced outside of the ones he recorded with CL Smooth? In my opinion, Pete is over rated. His new record sucks.Everything 9th touches is classic material. By the way, what the fuck is Jim Jones doing on a Pete Rock LP? Just face it, the nineties are over.Anyway, big up 9th & Buck.

Comment: chemistry was very good, a lil monotonous but still excellent. I was born and raised in north carolina and I have to say it is about time that we get some shine dammit, there are alot of talented producers and lyricist down here they just arent serious with getting put on. nc is a working class state everybody here is on the tip that you have to work a 9-5 in order to be successful. little brother and the justice league rep nc just like it should because everything they say about nc is true... peace!

Comment: Really anticipate this release. 1st one was ill. I want to thank Tim B. for his confused comment about Brother Ali and Atmosphere. He shows that there really are people who still have no idea about what good music is. People like him make real hip hop heads go that much harder to do what they love. Please, hurry up with a whack response like I'll care about what you say. Keep hip hop alive.

Comment: SouthSide Minny, if you know how to use an MPC how come nobody has ever heard of you? lol. Don't be mad cause you live in a state that doesn't know what real hip hop is.

Comment: 9th has to be the most overrated talentless hack in the game right now. Every damn beat sounds the same, WOW what talent! BCC needs to ditch this loser, and stick to Da Beatminerz beats which made them famous in the first place.
