Comment: This is decent effort and I definitely dig the overall sound they were aiming for, the production quality is great. I just feel it lacks a direction and is far too disorganized of an album to be worthy of anything more than 3 stars.

Comment: not bad, the guitars get bland after awhile and some of the chorus are annoying, but solid verses from all the mc's even jim jones, who will never put a solo album worth listening 2, mos def and jim jones track is fire

Comment: The Black Keys are one of my favorite bands and this is a very plesant suprise. I watched all the videos on their website wwwdotblakrocdotcom They are making a doc about it. It was really cool to see the artists interact with each other and see the whole process come together. Glad to see Dame still involved in music. The Jim Jones thing really threw me for a loop. With all the "real" mc's he kinda holds his own. I totally agree with gari a dj would have killed it on this.

Comment: I'm a fan of such projects and this one doesn't disappoint, guest list, emcees, and production were all fitting, no one sounded out of place, and no arrangement sounded out worked, but owuldve loved if a deejay was employed on the project, it wouldve had a more hip hop feel throughout, and a running theme of some sort, so in fact I give it a solid 3.5/5 and would certainly buy if it comes in digipack cardboard, dwnload if not

Comment: Can't wait for this one. Black Keys and hip hop together could mean classic album. Not a fan of Dame Dash, but he could have a winner with this album. Straight hip hop w/ some blues and rock influence.
