Comment: I will say, I didn't read the other reviews before I posted mine. I would have to say I did want to hear phonte spit a little bit more than he did, but I couldn't be mad on the production. I mean the album mood was excellent. I think even if it is nothing but singing, I would still say I can't find anything wrong with the album. This album is more relaxing. I like ya'll's feed back though. |

Comment: This is yet another outsatnding album. I mean connected was a great album, beter yet a classic, but this one is like on a whole other level. I love this album front to back. nicolay has to be one of the most slept on producers in the game. And as far as Phonte is concern, I look at him as a male lauryn hill. This is a genius album, and I would recommend this to anybody. I would think this is a classic 2x.

Comment: Its unfair to give this album 2 stars so I wouldnt recommend anyone looking too deeply into that, but for me this album was a huge disappointment. Not because its not dope, it probably is. But because after that long long long wait, despite all indications to the contrary, what I really wanted was Connected Pt. 2. That album has been steady on my playlist and I was lookign forward to adding to it.
But Phonte singing........ let-down |

Comment: I've got the album...anyone waiting for a Connected Pt 2 will be disappointed. I have to say I was very suprised at the direction they taking this in! Dont get me wrong the album is good..BUT...when u have a top producer and one of very few great emcees u would expect a classic as Connected was. WIth the hip hop game lacking these days I hoped this would be THE album to restore my faith. Again I say..its not a sh*t album but with Phonte singing on it for 99.2% of it, its essentially an RnB album?! Which is cool I guess, but I think if he had rapped as we know he can instead of singing....this COULD'VE been up there with as the best HIP HOP/RAP album of this decade..... |

Comment: Too many fans will be dissapointed with this album. The Foreign Exchange took a new direction with their sound. Very Experemintal, and alot of soul. I heard the album and I really enjoy the musical landscape nicolay delivers. Phonte only Mc's on 1 song only !!!. He sings and croons throughout the album which sounds very soothing on nicolay production. This album will be slept on very much. Please give it a chance, and be open minded. I got love for them. " Daykeeper" is a banging track. |
