I wish I could say I support new concepts but HipHop should be as it always was... as country should be what IT always was, as should Rock. Feel me? All of these are the original concept and they remain intact. People who love good rock hate Kid Rock. You know why… because he sucks. There is no room for “new” concepts and let it remain true. Something made me a fan, I guess I should be open to new things but I’m not. I love GFK, he is among Wu Elite but this is unnecessary. Not feelin’ it. There is no way I could legitimately place this in my changer and hope for the best. Hope floats and it should take this shit with it. Hmph... versatility (mockingly) |

SO that really 10..or 9 out of 14...it's a nice solid piece with some great songs on it, We all know Ghost is passionate about R&B ..he did a good job here for the most part, could have been better if he had gotten cats like Bilal, Jill Scott, Christte Michelle, Badu, etc... |

Name: LARS (Posted: 9/25/2009 9:08:00 AM; Partial IP: 4.10.46.64) Location: stockhom, sweden Comment: I finally heard this album and I am a little disappointed. Ghost tried to be creative and it was a mixed bag for me. The album is not horrible but it is not great either. It is more like a personal album for Ghost and he does a good job of telling vivid stories but the songs are a little too sweet sounding for me. Some of the beats are ok but overall it is lacking a hard punch. I think the album is too focused on relationships and needs more balance. I don't buy a Ghostface album to hear about relationships the whole album thru. He usually throws one or two of these types of songs which I do enjoy in moderation, but a whole album?? NAHHHHHHHH! Love ya Ghost, but this one is a miss.... |

Ghost has his owm ear for music. yore not gonna always get the sound you want from tham same producers everytime. Ghost always had good beats on his albums. The days when HipHop still felt magical. Producers... Primo remains the man... Song... Aesop Rock - Daylight... Album… tough to call as I love SO much music but Daylight describes constant mood. In any case I feel you on that. R&B has changed for me but I am the HipHop version of those who fancies the R&B. I will not dispute how good the music may be, and is likely dope but I like my HipHop with no cut and no chaser. As raw as it can get and straight up in a dirty glass. I will give it a shot. It is good to know that HipHop still breathes for some people. I fell in love years ago and my obsession has my wife questioning my loyalty. |

I'm with you 100% there's 14 tracks on this album but for me the album ends at track 10. The song you're talking about IS horrible and there's a song with Ron Browz that's even worse. I don't fuk with auto tune either. I'm strictly about real hip-hop. Pete Rock is my favorite producer and O.C. - Jewelz is probably my favorite album. But this album from Ghost is a good album. I''m not saying it's a hip-hop classic or anything but there's alot of good music to be found here if you listen to it with an open mind. Just not that auto tune bullsh** and Ron Browz track either |

I mean honestly to each their own but I may write him a letter and tell him that it's cool when the ladies feel it and they outnumber us greatly; HOWEVER I cannot fathom taking this route. R&B is peace for its listeners and I love ALL music but when the autotune is introduced and becomes the feature, I cannot look past it. Must... HATE!!! The one I heard was with some dude named Lloyd I guess. I honestly don't know R&B well enough to know any of the new cats but I hate the song. Ghost's rhymes are tight as always but I don't like R&B collabos since "You got stacks like the international House of pancakes..." What must I say? What must be made of this Ghost album is a mockery... HE did it! |

When I heard it was an R&B album I didn't know what to make of it either but apparently Ghost just knows good music. Guy is a genius. Of course you have to appreciate R&B to like this album as much as I do cuz if you're looking for that gritty Wu-Tang sound you're gonna have to buy another copy of Iron Man cuz you won't find it here. But if you like R&B as well as hip-hop this is a must have. Get em Ghost. |
